DH is now on slimming World after realising a male friend had been on it and lost over 2 stone yet was not starving. They gave us a spare set of books and we are cooking everything from scratch, so an initial expense but will be better in the long run. DH doesnt like pasta or rice but he loves the homemade chips done in the oven with spray oil.Amazing! Can he get rid of those awful doorstep callers :rotfl:I love Moo's bedtime routine, and the parrot joining in too
Just hope he doesn't get any more fears and phobias in the future, it's quite complicated as it stands now. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Arrggghhhhhhh - Just opened my emails to discover a flurry of strange transactions in my (hardly ever used so no money in it ) paypal account. Rang paypal immediately to discover that it would appear that my account has been phished and strange payments going in and out. Luckily I spotted it within 10 minutes of it starting. I have phoned my bank to suspend anything to do with paypal account to make sure that nothing happens and they have flagged my account for other strange activities. However I have now discovered that Paypal still have my old address and wil be sending a verification letter there. I cannot change anything on the account whilst they have it suspended. I cannot cancel DD for them with the bank, I tried ringing back to tell them what I had spotted re the address and they are now closed. I am out for the next 3 days with work so cant ring them again until Tuesday.
Came downstairs from the office to a very glum Mr C tried teling him about that and also about an issue in work that has me a bit worried and he says I am paranoid and worrying unnecessarily at which point I lost the plot. We have had words and I am so bloody P****d off right now I feel like just taking a hike. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. ((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))))))) Cheri, argued with my OH as well. My attitude is apparently the problem. I'm paranoid and over protective, argh (bound to be with a 19 year old with schizophrenia, my biological child, OH's step-son) arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh. MEN, could scream sometimes.
You'll work it out, you have inner strength, and you have a way of seeing the tree's through the wood IYSWIM.
Well done on noticing the pay-pal thing.:mad::mad::mad::mad: at phishing scams.
I need a glass of vino. (care to join me). Can't though, got some stugg going on that needs a clear head. May indulge later. Ouch xxx0 -
The main thing is the account is suspended so they cant get anything else. Its just a distressing pain in the wotsit.
My DH took it worse than I did over the I-Tunes hacking. You have so much going on you are bound to feel !!!!!!. I'm sure Mr C didn't mean to hurt you.
Just remember not to go to bed on an arguement xOne small step for ME, one giant leap for my family!

Thank you both. we are ok now............ I agree no going to bed on arguments and I know that he was only trying to support me in his own way but hey ho. MEN you are right fantasia. I just read re your SS ( I refuse to add in the D bit to people sorry) over on matrix. I am sorry that this has happened. I will post over the other thread in a mo about it. I have something to say as always.
I now have a de suspended paypal account with the person who put the money in saying that I havent sent the goods and want it reversed. Which will be difficult as I raised a dispute immediately and they now have the whole thing on hold. It is times like this that I am glad that I am anal about money. That said I am £21 over budget this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Oh dear, I seem to be in meltdown. I have always been very good at managing money. For some reason this month I am totally rebelling and I keep buying things that I just dont need
Can somebody send in the spendy elves exterminators.
In good news my free seed potato kit arrived yesterday. I will be having a good look at that today. Decluttering is going great guns and the charity shops love me. I am sorry I just cant bring myself to ebay silly little items. Apart from which I have discovered that the things people will buy are collect only and as I live in the back of beyond nobody within driving distance seems to want any of what I have to sell. I have discovered a car boot sale nearby so I may well be visiting that in a few weeks when I have enough gathered together. I just need to persuade Mr C that it will be fun. He is always very negative about stuff like this which tends to deflate my enthusiasm. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Blasted spendy elves be gone!
My DH hates car boots unless you set him a challenge to see who can sell an item for the highest amount. He asked silly amounts and then chats and mollycoddles until they buy. Sand to the arabs and all that!
I'm not necessarily decluttering but things are getting into the right places.
Year end accounts nearly ready for April 6th and DH wants to take control of finances relating to the new contract which we are setting up under a new partnership. Normally he runs a mile so I;m not sure if this is good or badOne small step for ME, one giant leap for my family!

Car Boots - Only done a few. We split the stall into two ends with a bit of overlap in the middle. So he had the garage & DIY kit etc and I had the more feminine and children's stuff, the split seemed to work with the buyers too
Other essentials were a flask. Also accepting that hot bacon or breakfast butties from the food stands are good bribes even if it does cut into the profit margin.
He actually enjoyed it, which surprised up both
We also went with a neighbour who had the pitch next to us, so we had cover for loo breaks etc., and he could go on walkabout some of the time too when it wasn't too busy.0 -
sounds promising that your H wants to do the accounts Me, fingers crossed that it is a good, rather than bad thing. SE you sound so organised with the car boot sales. I think it will be me on my own or at the best me and Moo. As long as nobody tries to buy him that is.
Having a crap day............................. expect things to get worse before they get better as well HO HUM! In good news I have had a NSD - first of the month so I am quite pleased about that.
