I can see a small profit in the game, but the driver sets????
It seems to me that some people get things just because they are there0 -

When I asked the question of why people really r&r, the silence was deafening with the exception of a few long term posters who have been banging the same drum for over a year.
The thread has once again become full of people boasting about the quick buck they have made. Fair play to them and i'm not sure that if i was on the other side of the fence that i wouldnt be doing the same (r&r'ing, not boasting) and therefore I do not sit in judgement.
What i find rather distasteful though is those that bang on about it day after day with those silly little (and sometimes large) totals in their signatures...must improve their stature as human beings.:rolleyes:Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!
I don't exist, it is merely your imagination.

I see it like this, most stuff I have R&R'd is for us and family members, have passed on meat, chocs etc... kids books are for school, other books come in handy for school raffles as are chocs
If I see a potential R&R and a use for it then I'll try and get it - personally not at all interested in the X box thing so have never wanted any of that0 -

Where is my bitterness?, I certainly don't need lessons from you !
I don't mind people making a profit from this (not at all) But I really can't see the point of grabbing everything that is there !, you seem to think that you need to show off how much have you "blagged" why ?- is it the big car syndrome?, I really don't see the point of everyone posting what they have r&r ?, passing on information is great but to show off......well each to their own.
Good luck though0 -
oh give it a rest will ya ?

But if people did not have multi-coloured large font sigs, how would we know how awesome they are?Its a bit mean of you to ask others to hide their obvious greatness...;)

Well obviously you will be against me, and thanking the guys post proves this, along with gina of course who was proved wrong with my pics when i was called a liar, and told I exagerate.
I see this as a game, how long it lasts nobody knows, but im getting as much as i can , while i can, survival of the fittest.
Mr Leahy has plenty of cash, i see this as a way of making a little extra for myself.
Who can honestly say they do not want something for nothing. Usually i miss the boat on free stuff or blags.
Not this one my son
Love the Postman
ps Im not boasting, but my total is impressive. It inspires me, and i hope it inspires others who would normally think, no i wont bother. Go for it, you have nothing to lose:idea: £2051.50 since Oct 25 2006Make mine a Golden £143.46

im inclined to agree with the postman on this one. its all to do with ethics BUT if your mum/wife/hubby etc was one of those not in the know who paid full price for any of the incorrectly priced items then at a guess you would be pretty annoyed to say the least.
at the end of the day Mr T will continue to charge incorrect prices until a customer notices and points this out. so one xbox game in one store sells 50 copies on a saturday at a £2 over price. customer 51 notices and goes back for R&R. tesco have made £100.00 pure profit by overcharging, and have paid out £20 or so ( the trade price for the game) and customer 51 gets a brucie bonus.
going out deliberately looking for r&r can be taken by some as pure greed, taking the pi$$ etc, but i look on it as stopping mr T from ripping off the unsuspecting punters, as well as a nice little pressie for me or an xmas gift bought on tesco, as i told the cs today as i r&r'd my only purchase in the shop - 1 xbox game!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:0
