    Good morning Peeps!!

Well, it is Friday again! Have been online banking this morning! Money where it should be and extras just shuffled around to 'savings' and to 'old OD'.

Nothing else to report really - all more than a little dull. Going through a phase of feeling all a bit 'done' with debt now and wanting to go on a shopping spree.... but some how I now get that guilty feeling of spending money, before I've even spent a penny! (and to be honest, I did have a look for a little treat purchase last weekend, and could not find a thing that I liked!! Always the case!!)

Right, work beckons! Have a great weekend all, I am at work tomorrow, and then home to watch the rugby!!!
    start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

    £7000 - 4th MAY
    £8000 - 13th JUL
    £9000 - 21st SEP
    £10000 - 30th NOV

    Oooh, exciting isn't it?? lol

OOOOOHHH!! Look what today is!!!!! :D £6,000 repaid in total!!

  • Have been 'reinbursed' for my house-sitting time! Thats's 2 weeks worth of cash withdrawals covered and a bit more. The 'bit more' may be used tonight on a night out with a girlie-friend (if needed although need to be sensible on the alcohol front have lots of things to do tomorrow), or just to generally make this weeks cash withdrawal last that longer!!

I have sent another £10 to my old OD this morning (as I wont need the little buffer I left in there as I have surplus cash), have updated my spreadsheet with that and deleted the cash withdrawal log for the next 2 weeks! Everything is nicely on track!!

Hope you are all having a good weekend? OBNW - please post next time you surface!!!

    Hi Peeps!

Well, in light of the fact that moneywise everything is deadly boring (well, at least until the next CC statement comes through!) I have just spent a little bit of time working out when the 5 week months occur next year... and for those of you who want to know, they are....
    MARCH
    JUNE
    AUGUST
    NOVEMBER

I can also happily report that I have not paid full price for anything this christmas. And, I got OH 2 extra presents by using a book token I forgot I had, so 2 books cost me £1.23 - even I can live with that!

I will be back before the big day! Nats x

LOOK LOOK LOOK!!! Roll on 2nd March!!! The first payday of 5!!! I LOVE March!!!

lol a good time for you coming up, reaching £6k paid off - amazing and a five month payday - brilliant.

i still think back to when you first joined here and despite all your hard work after the first year-two years you'd not really made any headway with your debts (if my memory serves me right) and yet now you've cleared £6k. I know it's boring but you should be so proud of yourself!

    Ah thanks LT!!! *blushes*

You are right though. Starting debt in Nov 2008 was £19,225 and in Jan 2011 it was still £17,000!! In-roads are definitely being made!!! The little 'noteable dates' really help with keeping focused and helping me mentally!!! And it won't be long until I am under 100 payments to go and then the under 90 to go will be along shortly! Thats when I will feel like I am winning the battle!

ah but you are winning the battle, if you weren't you'd still be up around the £17k mark and have taken 3 1/2 years out of your life. Yes you're taking the time now but just imagine what you'll be able to do with that money in 111 weeks time!

    Hi All!

Well it's my favourite day of the week - and..... I get 5 of them this month!! Happy times indeed.

Online accounts have been checked and additional money moved as necessary! Have managed to amass an extra free £6.00 through online games (on the bingo site I signed up to last year!) One of the conditions of playing the free game is that you have to play a minimum of £2.00 of real money on the site every week (although in reality it is only every fortnight!) - so I will keep this money in there and worse case scenario it will disappear in 6 weeks time... but to be honest the free game is fairly generous and I hope to be able to boost this up and withdraw some (minimum £10 withdrawal!)

Other than that, not a huge amount to report really. I am off work this weekend, so hoping to get some bits done at home (really should make a list off things to do - but to be honest I think the sheer size of it would be quite depressing! lol)

Right, must do some work whilst it is still relatively quiet here.

    Have a super-fab weekend all! x

Felt the need to report that I have just cheered myself up no end by spending the grand total of £0.98!! I have just ordered the 20 year celebration Ministry Of Sound 4CD set from HMV!! It was only £8.99 (which I thought was ridiculously cheap anyway!!) and I had £8.01 left in my e-wallet from christmas (when I got £20 free to start with!), so all I had to pay was the balance!! Excited? Muchly!!! ;O)
