    Good morning All!

Well it's the start of another week, and my mood is muchly improved since Friday! ;)

Actually, it is really rather odd...... I decided not to withdraw any money from the bank on Friday and to survive on what I had in my purse (not a lot) and if necessary borrow some from my clothing or decorating fund. So we went out for dinner Friday night and all it cost me was the taxi home (£5). A few bits and pieces on Sat and then yesterday I had £20.00 left in my purse. Went and played poker last night (naughty I know but I haven't been for 2 weeks and it only costs me £9.80 for the whole evening) - thus leaving me with £10.20. I came second in the poker, returning me £14.00 and boosting my purse up to £24.20. And then this morning, I found a £10.00 note laying at the edge of the kerb when I got to work!!! New purse balance £34.20!!! (Which is pretty much back to where I started on Fiday evening!) Happy days! :D

Exchanged the blinds for the bedroom and bought some smaller ones from another shop. Smaller but cost me 3p each more than the larger ones! :rotfl:That came out of the decorating budget along with a watering can, a potato bin, some potatoes, onions, a hose attachment and some leather wipes. Looks like OH will be doing some gardening this week as I am working late tonight, gym tomorrow and circuit training on Wednesday! :p

OBNW - these are my favourite pair of shoes in my collection! They are ridiculously high (think pole-dancer-esque) and the metal heel is as thin as it looks.... but because they are a quality shoe, well made and therefore expensive, they are so comfortable. They have been worn many times - occasionally through to 2 or 3 in the morning, starting at 7 at night!!! I LOVE THEM!!!

Right, work beckons - seems wrong that I should be doing overtime, when I am spending a chunk of my normal day on here!

Hope everyone is well and had a good weekend? Nats x

My left ankle isn't too keen on my favourite shoes, but as long as the rest of me as a say, they still get worn! I love my cowbow boots too - best buy ever from ebay! Brand new about 6 years ago and still going strong and looking better with age. I reckon if I worked out 'cost per wear' I would now be in the pennies! :D (unfortunately, cost per wear on the favourite shoes is probably still in the £10-00s)

    OK OK!!

Gosh - you two aren't half demanding you know! ;)

Well, yes it is payday - I will update my signature in a bit - other than that I have no clue what is happening with my finances... too busy at work and too shattered at home to look. I am sure that everything is covered as it should be and as I have not withdrawn any pennies at all this week, my spreadsheet should not need any tweaking at all! :( Oh well, there is always next week!

On the upside I haven't bought any shoes at all!!! On the down side I am a broken women... went to circuits on Weds and we had a different instructor. OMG he must have been an Army PT at some point in life as I don't think I have been sooo close to collapsing / throwing up through exercise before in my life. It was good though. Today is 2nd day pain - and to be honest it is only marginally better than yesterday - Muscles I didn't even know existed hurt. Nothing is pain free... walking, lifting things, driving, reachin, coughing, sneezing all bring tears to my eyes. Here's hoping tomorrow is better!

Hope you are all well, and I am hoping that when things calm down a little at work I will catch up on all your dairies!!

Have a fab weekend - I intend to as not working! Nats x
