Always ask your retailer who they use for delivery - and if they say UK Mail then go somewhere else !!
I ordered perishables and the driver couldn't find my address so didn't deliver - I then rang to update the delivery info and waited .....and waited ......they never delivered so I called and they told me the parcel was under Serious Incident Issue status although they couldn't tell me why?
They said it wouldn't come out until after the weekend now so
I told them to send the parcel back to consignor as the goods would have been ruined - Guess what Tuesday after the weekend they sent me a "tracker" to say the parcel will be delivered that day ???
I called yet again (8 times all in all) and spoke to someone I could barely understand and who sounded like they were asleep - and he said he would cancel ......I'm not however holding my breath
For a company to use the following as a mission statement - is almost laughable "A dynamic and forward thinking company, UK Mail is committed to pushing the boundaries of the postal and express parcel delivery markets and continues to launch a range of innovative delivery solutions" -
Avoid them at all cost0
