After reading this thread I definatly believe something is going wrong with us. We recieved our bill for just December and for gas we owe British Gas £146 - this is just one month :-( I wouldn't mind but we live in a very modest 2 bed terrace. Yes we do have a new baby in the house which we do need the heating on for but in November having used the heating etc the same as december our bill was £56 for gas - what is going on, how can it have tripled? Luckily our electric bill was only £30 for the month.

Mine was £152 for 4400kwh for december alone with BG
