    Hi

I don't suppose you know how much a table will be?

    Thanks xo

Should have a firm price by the end of the week, at the minute I am just compiling a list of names to put before the organizing committee.

If you want me to add your name, just send me contact details and an outline of what you do.

If it is any help they are trying to achieve a great day out that is affordable for stallholders and public, so stalls should represent good value.

They are also particularly interested in hearing from beauty & complimentary therapists if anyone knows any!

  • Hi,

I am new to this forum and thread and just wanted to introduce myself.
I have been making jewellery (mainly earrings as the name indicates) for a wee while as a hobby until someone suggested to take it further and try to make it a business.
Coming from a family with IT background, I got my ETSY shop going, dawanda and folksy are in progress, facebook is running too and my own website (www dot abcdearrings dot com) should be standing soon too.
What I haven't tried so far is fairs...

I was wondering if anyone had a good suggestion for a fair or if i should just take the plunge and go ahead and go to any fair I can.
From reading the thread I can seen that getting into a fair with jewellery is fairly difficult as it seems to be very common. Early bird and all that I guess...
Is there anything else I should know about attending a fair?
I have seen some wee bits mentioned about insurance (???). Could anyone help me with that?
Any tips and tricks on setting up a stall? What is a good number of items to sell? 30 - 100- 300?

I have seen also some messages about upcoming craft fairs - noted all the dates i hope and will contacted them tmw.
I would have also loved to contact a few members about details on fairs - tania27 in particular- but despite the IT background i haven't found it out yet how to send a pm... *blush*

    Thanks for reading!
Hopefully see you at some craft fairs soon!!

Are any of the girls who make candles in teacups on here?

We have a couple of random china cups in the shop with a tiny nic in the rim, which I won't use in the tea-room, but before I throw them out just thought I would ask if they are any use to anyone

Send me a message, or many of you know where to find me, just call in!
