Id just like to add, that I live in Armagh and I didnt hear or see any advertising for the style fair, if I had, I would have definitely gone to it!
  • Been a while since i've been around. The Leprosy Mission, was a good event last week, it was well organised and plenty of work had gone into getting people, who wanted to buy, to attend. Well done.

    Hi everyone
Just to let you know Glenlola's craft fair date is October 15.
Application forms online. Google Glenlola Collegiate.
    £30 a table.

Am in Ballymena this Saturday - hopefully catch up with some of you.
    hi Jill

    |It quotes £25 on on line form not £30 which is a bit better. Victoria Collge charge £40 for 10-3pm Sat Nov 26th.:)

well the saintfield show was a waste of a lot of peoples time, stuck at the back of the tent that was for ladies entering their home baking etc, away form the main action, we all could not understand it, tthere where people selling plastic toys etc, up where we the crafts should have been, one lady said it took her three attempts to find the craft tent, hardly any one sold any thing, and we where all unhappy, one girl went to get her dad and her self a bite to eat and for an egg fried and in a roll and a roll and two sausages and two cups tea it was £10.00 i was glad of my packed lunch, the traders made no money but the event organizers is bound to have at £25 per table. very disappointing, though Norma the organizer tried her very best it was just a bad place to sell and everyone was in the same boat, i did meet two lovely girls and enjoyed the crac. any one else disappointed at the saintfield show.?
agree very few spending any money but Norma is a great girl and was very helpful.

Are you going to do Glenlola again Glassact?

It was OK for us last year so we will probably give it a bash!
DJWW - cos we won't let it!

It was Bangor Elim we were together at last year, not Glenlola - Glenlola is one big, big hall full of stalls, it was OK for us.

Not doing Castlewellan this year, taking a year off from the Agriculturals as they were all well down for me last year, so thought I would give them a break for this year.

Might catch up with you sometime before Glenlola though!

I just got a booking form from glenola and it has a fee of £30 on it
  • Hi I just wanted to introduce myself as am completely new to this site. I recently starting making and selling cards to non-family members with not too much success so far even though i have a facebook page and sell on folksy. I have decided to bite the bullet and try out a craft fair (i'm completely scared stiff incase it bombs too).
Hoping that getting to know you lovely peeps will build up my confidence in my products. I'd be really grateful for any feedback on either of my sites I can be found as - Handmade by Jen xo.

    Thanks everyone
