I'm hoping that Reddie's silence means that she's busy scribbling essays somewhere. :)

Well done, m'dear: it will be so worth getting them out of the way! :T

    I could lie!!!

Sadly, my silence was brought on by internet being down!

    Essays - pleading 5th!!

Pennies - damn paid MBNA too soon so now its is an overpayment and I need to gather up £95 to pay this months minimum. Note to self, pay MBNA week after payday NOT on payday!!

Thank you all so much for the positivity re weight loss. I was very chuffed. The only thing I am doing different is tracking every morsel that passes my lips, rather than my usual guessing. Plus 4lb may be because TOTM last week so must have lost fluid retention. I very much expect to lose no more than 1lb this coming week.

Ooh, thats vexing about the MBNA payment!

Aw Reddie, I'm not coming back here until you post on my thread that you have made a serious start to your work.

I :heartpuls you dearly, but I know more than anyone how much you will regret not getting those essays underway.

Hope that doesn't come across as patronising, but I'm just thinking back to my student days and procrastination. (I bought a book on it and read it, yes - the irony! :rotfl:)

Looking forward to your post. :D xxx ((hugs))

Do you know what the problem with the essays is.......................final submission is October and being a great 'Last Minute Annie' I am not paniced. However I do not want 6 essays hanging over me.............next submission is March - no brainer really!!

    Good morning Red
Great to hear your weight loss. We are in a similar place as I have lost 2 1/2 stones to get down to 11 1/2.
I have set myself the challenge of being 10 stones by Easter & enjoying guilt free hot cross buns if you want to join me/race.
As for the essays, you have 7 months to write 6 essays so do 1 a month with 1 month left over for slippage. If it helps post your word count on here as in 500/2500 words. If Pickle sees you are progressing however slowly it might bring her back from the dead.

Hi Helen, good to 'see' you again.

Wow fabulous weight loss! Are you at WW too?

As for the essays - I am now feeling 'pickle guilt' and need to get !!! in gear.

No, I'm doing it by myself although some of the ladies in the office are WW so I get to hear all about their points. Rachel's mother has been using her free fruit allowance to make banana sandwiches and then gets fed up as she is not losing weight. This lady's portion sizes are also a bit off though as Rachel came back to work after Christmas asking what a normal sized portion of sprouts was as she had been eating steadily through her Christmas dinner but had had to leave 17 as she got too full!

OMG - those are huge portions.

Well done on doing it yourself............as you can see (re essays) I need the discipline of weigh in plus I need to get off my butt and do some exercise..........oh look I am procrastinating again :(
