    Well done on getting the first one out of the way.

    I'm not sure on my learning style, when I did my accountancy exams I tried a distance learning course & found it just stressed me out with their deadlines for homework and I much preferred just getting the books and doing it when I chose (although I did have the deadline of the exams). Later though I started an MA in Victorian Studies and really enjoyed the first year which was structured bit lost when it came to choosing a topic for a dissertation and setting the question. I ended up thinking why am I doing this, it's no longer a pleasure and I don't need the qualification and dropping out.

    Setting the question is by far the hardest part!!

    I have taken tomorrow morning off as study leave (I know I have a nerve!!) mostly because I am exhausted, all my cases are complex and involve huge amount of brain power whihc was nearly impossible today because I was knackered after all the reading yesterday.................hark at me I am sounding like such a martyr.

    Boss asked me to take on practice teacher training, but was told today it is mega intense and lot of pressure (and that was from someone who did a masters!) so think I will have to rethink that. Plus there are no jobs out there so its not like it would improve my career prospects!

    Pennies - ugh, thought I had no rates to pay this month............alas its March and April not Feb and March, thank God there were pennies in the account. DH under pressure from suppliers to pay sooner, seems they want to move 90 days to 60 days and of course Jan is a crap month! Need to magic £600 from somewhere soonish!

    Challenge = Debt at 31/01/12 = £25k. 2011 Payments = £1,944.19/£24,403.84

    There is no point in negative thought, it takes up time and energy which could be used in a positive, happy way!

    Yes they can, they can do what they like because if we don't pay, they don't deliver ingredients and if we have no ingredients, no pies = no sales!

    Yes, that's unreasonable to think that they can just change it like that *snaps fingers* without it having an effect on customers, especially in times like these.

    Are they the only possible supplier? Ask them for a reasonable time to adjust, then if you can play it, suggest that there are other people who could supply you, but that's a dangerous game and it would be prefereable to avoid playing it unless absolutely necessary. x

    They are the cheapest for flour, and they know it!!!!!!

    And in times like these, they have us by the short and curlies and they know it - will have to re-gig and try and send them something weekly, basically need £600 before end of feb and then £1100 at end of feb and then, as sods law would have it, we only owe them £600 in total for Dec and Jan!

    All I can say is that it will come back to haunt them, one way or another. I can't believe it's' legal to change your T&C without some sort of adjustment period. :mad:

    It will come back to bite them on the !!! when we have enough money to leave them, I hate dealing with them and I hate that they are using their power in such a negative manner!
