I went out to hang out the washing. I was on the lawn which is like other quite lush because of the weather, there are also lime trees in the garden.
I became aware of a tingling on my legs and within the time it took to hang out the clothes, I had been bitten to pieces. Just my calves are covered in red lumps.
Does anyone know what it could be that has bitten me so badly0 -
Hello hrafndot
I'll move your thread to the 'Health & Beauty' board.
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. could it be fleas in the garden?0
-
Are you sure they are bites and not an allergic reaction to something on your grass? Or nettles/similar?0
-
I was just standing in the grass and didn't touch it. I could feel little stings like pin pricks and I went all allergic straight away. I thought it could be fleas or midges. They could only reach as high as the knee.0

Hi I am looking for advice I havea dog who we believe has fleas we got flea treatment from the vets but he has been scratching so much that he has small spots some off which he has broken the skin on by scratching so much so althought the treatment may work by killing the fleas is there anything I can put on his skin to stop it itching so much? I know he (hopefully) won't get new ones but if he doesn't stop scratching will these ever clear up?
Any advice appreciated0 -
Take him tot the vets as we can't give medical advice on here, and he sounds very uncomfortable.Hope he's ok soon:p"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"
