That's class, can not believe a Train Company would have that as it's Christmas fare evasion campaign poster, it's so wrong. But the important question is, do the RPI's in the North East really look like that?0 -
The appeal process is a sham. I was PF'd some months ago when transferring from LU to a rail line (still within Z4) - not realising that PAYG didn't apply. I didn't see the PF notices as there was restricted platform space at Stratford - hence the remaining platform was 7-deep with passengers, completely concealing any information displayed.
My argument is that you need to see the rules of the game before you can engage with it. The appeals unit did not consider this to be a valid response, the PF is just a license to print money.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Assuming it was about this time last year, when PAYG wasn't valid on most national rail services, unfortunately the onus is on the passenger to know the ins and outs of Oyster travel, and actually read the small print on the leaflet they receive with their cards. I'm not exactly familiar with Oyster myself, but if I had an Oyster Card and was unsure as to whether it was valid etc, I'm make damn sure I checked exactly what I could and couldn't do with it before attempting to travel!VfM4meplse wrote: »The appeal process is a sham.
