    Evening all,

Would like to say that I've been off here doing other more exciting things, but the truth is that I've not been logged on, but still reading various threads, popped over to the OS thread and was distracted by a 36 page thread about embarrassing things people do to save money. Needless to say I have then spent a couple of hours watching tv as well. And I'm ashamed to admit that whilst watching tv, I sat and drank tea and ate chocolate when I really should've been on the exercise bike at the very least. How hard is it to just jump on a bike that's sat in the living room right in front of the tv, lazy or what!

Anyway not had dinner yet but strangely not too hungry, too much choccies methinks. Think I will go and iron some clothes for work tomorrow, boo hiss! Have dinner, then have a nice bath and a read of my book, would like to finish it as it belongs to someone at work and I'd like to return it this week. Need to remember it's my turn to check the defib this week, I have obviously remembered now, but please let me remember tomorrow. Well, ho hum, better get off my bum and do something constructive.

Hi Swinstie, we all have those days. I have had four days off and really should've achived so much more so that I am not running around getting ready for the forthcoming week on a Sunday night!

Hope you manage to get through the first day back. I know you are not looking forward to it - hopefully once you are there, you will feel a bit better.

    Evening all,

Well first day back at work and it was pants! Just don't want to be there anymore but I'm trying my best not to grumble as it's a job and a well paid job at that. Must think positive thoughts about having this job is enabling me to be debt free next month.

Got hair cut tonight, £8, and some groceries for the rest of the week, £23. Ended up having porridge for lunch today, ate my cereal bar this morning for brekkie as was too busy to eat, and drank some water. Had curry at mum's for dinner, flipping tasty. So sitting here now and it's freezing, so better go and try and do something. Oh, and got our holiday pics back, looking not too bad, might go and put them in the album whilst they are in my mind. Or else it will be six months later and they will still be sitting where they are.

Monday's are only pants SG, when you are scared to wear red shoes on Freedom Monday :D

Well, had a nice shower and watching CSI NY from the weekend, then it's either The Biggest Loser or ANTM, can't decide - what an exciting life I lead but thank goodness for V+.

Decided to go for The Biggest Loser, have even done 10 mins on the exercise bike and some hand-weights as well. Woman from work got me the new schedule for a gym I can go to on the way home, thought about going tomorrow night BUT, think I will get my gym gear sorted and go to a class on Thursday night. Still feeling a bit like a barking seal with this cough so will give myself another couple of days to get over it. Sister has booked me in for Body Pump on Saturday morning too. Onwards and upwards - totally nothing to do with a guy at work saying to me today that I wouldn't be able to keep up with the woman I work with (who had went a quick walk at lunch time). Pee off, I will show you all. Can't be bothered with people who like to put you down, a wee bit of encouragement is nice sometimes.

Well BL back on, so better go, night all x
  • What an ignorant chap that is at your work! I suppose he's the spit of Brad Pitt himself, is he?! He must be very insecure in himself to want to put others down like that.

Glad to hear you're feeling better, and hopefully work will improve over the next few days. I always used to think that first days back after being poorly were very strange indeed - sort of like being the new girl all over again! (Although with my old company that was more that, even if you'd been signed off by the doc, they made you feel like you had been skiving and should have been coming in anyway!)
