Welcome to the challenge, I've added your name to the list. Please may I join this challenge too
I am going to only buy lunch on a Friday. The rest of the week I will bring from home, but need to ensure they cost less than the normal £2.20 I spend on a sandwich, so I will look for tips on what to bring in from you lot

Hi guys,
So I have barely been joined for a week but I have been successful so far. No work lunches for me or OH and no last minute school dinners for DS either.
Im all set for feb, bring it on I say!! So far, at least £50 has been saved as a result of this and I am so very proud of myself! Home made chips and crisps are done for tomorrow, will make myself some couscous to go with it. OH is working a backshift tomorrow so he will have his lunch and tea in the house.
super!

Morning all
I have got a mystery pot out of the freezer for my lunch today! It has quorn, peppers, mushrooms and some kind of brown sauce - it might be curry or if not it might be hotpot! It has no smell while still frozen so it will be a surprise - I must learn to label stuff! Whatever it is, I will have it with pitta bread.
On target for the challenge so very pleased. I have spent twice on breakfast but not bought any lunches.
Will carry on into February so please sign me up for next month. Well done folks
