    We're still unsure...

Our wedding is April 2012, but my bridesmaids and I do NOT suit pastels, so I'm not doing what the magazines suggest!!!

We will be having either Cadbury's Purple or Chocolate Brown.

The chocolate brown idea comes from the cake we will be having... chocolate fingers and malteasers. Yum!!!

We may have a combination of both, brown suits with purple waistcoats/cravats, purple BM's dresses with chocolate sashes. I just can't quite make a decision!!!

Purple is really in just now. Wish my BM's were in purple as the current selection of dresses everywhere is fantastic! They are in black and I'm in purple.

My colour scheme is deep red and black.

Be aware ladies who are having 'Cadbury Purple' everyones version of this seems to be a different shade! I've ordered stuff online that has had to go back as too bright purple.
  • We were going for a Bronze scheme, but far too difficult to find the right colour BM dresses, so are edging towards Champagne or Mocha

Well we have decided to wait until 2012 to get married, so I have plenty of time to decide and buy! I was thinking of silver/white/black, but not sure.

I think I want a brighter colour too.
Married the absolute love of my life on Sunday May 6th and I couldnt be happier!!!

Purple and orange is a stunning combination! I'm having it too, with a little turquoise thrown in for good measure :D

As for the cake, how about a classic design in your colours but with zoo animal toppers?

i really like this cake....but obviously taking the topper off to replace with animals doesnt give it the same effect!...so its either something like this...the more elegant approach...

or something like this...the fun approach LOL
