Thoughts on Quidco cashback & Sim only deals

They use O2 as fair as know. Don't take my word for it though.0

I used quidco on a £100 12month sim deal, took 13 months to get the money after numerous emails and complaints0

I've also used Quidco on I think 5 or 6 O2 sim only or contract deals. In every case I've had to raise a missing earnings query as they simply don't track, but again in every case I've received the cash, varying from £35 to £150, after about 5 or 6 months. I'm waiting to do another one soon and don't have any concerns.0

To those of you that aren't getting your sales tracked through Quidco, i suggest you check your browser settings, making sure that you are accepting cookies.
The way affiliate marketing works (which qudico is) is you follow a link and a cookie is downloaded onto your computer. This tells the merchant (in this case the mobile provider) which site has refereed that customer. Cookies can expire in hours, days or even months. Which can mean that for the cookie could expire before you make your purchase, or in many cases the cookie is still active sometimes even when you make a second purchase days/months later.
If you have visited comparison site or the like all of these will download cookies to your computer with their affiliate ID, which could be a reason why your payments aren't being tracked by quidco.
Of course it could just be that Quidco (and or mobile companies) being slow in paying up, though i have never had a problem and have so far earned from Eurotunnel, O2, 3, Giffgaff, Stenna Line, EDF, Scottish Power, Nokia etc..0 -

The sales go to "Validated" status ok, but stick there. Money seems to being held up by the affiliates who handle the cash from Vodafone to Quidco. Neither seems to want to deal with the problem.0
