didn't think 7 year olds were legally responsible for anything, so demand a refund.0

Thanks op for bringing this to my attention. I had not thought about this happening and my son could so easily do this. I have just been into my itunes account and removed my card details.Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.0

Exactly what I do. Only ever have a max of £15 at any one time. If I want something dearer then I put more on.
No way would I put any of my card details on there....:eek:0 -
Never mind the ins and outs of passwords etc there is a thread running on the Apple Forums about this and Apple have been giving refunds for this sort of thing

Even if you didn't give your daughter the password she can still buy via the app (in app purchase) without the password and there are very few warnings given that are understandable by children.
I have in-app purchases disabled on my iphone and my DS has his own Touch but only uses vouchers so if he spends it all, then he has to wait until the next birthday/Xmas/me feeling flush occasion(which is rare than birthday/Xmas)
One of the main sticking points is that the in-app purchase option is switched on at the time of purchase and it does take a bit of hunting down via the settings IF you already know about it - not many people bother to read all the way through the manualNoli nothis permittere te terere
