I would get the phone company to re-imburse the additional charges, they will have record that you have not sent any text to that number .0 -

I've had exactly the same problem with the txts from 84111 and on the same dates. I've never had any contact with them. I certainly don't intend to contact them and get a refund as they would then have my personal details.
But I have contacted the regulator with a very stiff complaint. Given I've now had stop message txts and a grovelling call left on my voicemail from the "scammers" I can only assume the regulator has been onto them.
The reason I thought this important is because if they are allowed to get away with this, what is to stop them sending me 10 txts a day for a month, giving me a huge bill, and given an excuse of "system problems".
I also called Orange and requested they refund me as they are also profiting from these activities, needless to say they told me where to get off, and not very politely either! No surprise there though.0 -
I emailed the scammers and got a postal order for £4 but i still complained to the regulators.
The regulator have now opened a case against them and will let me know if and when they take any action0 -
I had an email today and phoneplayplus have fined £10,000 and imposed sanctions on the scammers. Glad to see some justice but they should have been banned for life from running such businesses.
They had 27 complaints similar to ours and another 9 for unsolicited phonecalls.0
