How are you measurng your roof angle BTW?:0

If it's any consolation I only got 1.7 yesterday from sunny Cardiff. Also pointing approx 110deg ESE.
Don's 49deg readings have been knocking mine out of the park every day.
You mention over 3 only during 3 summer months. Gulp, I'm hoping for more, as system went in in mid /late August but was still pulling some 3kW readings into September, so hoping for similar 2 months before June 21st too, so maybe 3's for 4 months - fingers crossed.
Mart.
Edit: Wasn't seeing more than 1.3kW readings late Dec, but now seeing 1.7kW - when it's sunny (so not often). Hoping for 2's by early Feb.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Hiya Maverick. If you meant me, well I measured the floor and rise, then applied Phythagorus, then used inverse cosine, to get 30deg for loft, and 20 deg for low roof. Took about 10 mins, nine of those were trying to remember the maths I hadn't used since the last maths exam, about 25 years ago.
Then told wifey, who in less than 2 minutes had downloaded a spirit level app to her phone and checked both roofs by placing it on them. You can tell who the clever one in the family is!!!

Don , sorry to doubt you , did you look at the inverter screen output at the time ?
interested in your panel make and size also.0 -
Our 3.7kWp system is already kicking out 1kW before 9am :j
Weather forecast is good so getting the dishwasher and washing machine on now. Hopefully won't be a repeat of yesterday's very changeable weather (glorious start, hale showers, rain showers and occassional cloud), although we still made 6.8kWh.
Our system for the stattos:
3.7kWp panels (20x 185W Enfinity-185M5) on two strings (top row and bottom row)
Enfinity 3680-TL inverter
Roof angle: 42 degrees
Orientation: SE (-36degrees)
Post code: BS40
No shading except on bottom row as sun rises above next door in the morning (just out of shade about 0840).
Real-time output measured using Solo PV (reads generation meter LED output).
To date we're beating the PVGIS estimate (which was 3060kWh annual using total combined losses 26.5% on PVGIS tool) by 30% since installation late October. :cool:Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0 -
Sly dog, just getting 1.09kW (9.25am) hopefully a good day today!

I've never checked the inverter, its in the loft.
my panels are 20 x ZNShine 195W.0 -
hmmm can the clamp for an owl meter actually work on the generation meter?0

Don't mind so much about the afternoon weather at this time of year, as our output drops significantly at around 3pm as the sun moves round from our SE orientation.
Real-time output just rose edged over 2kW at 9:48AM (less than 2hrs after sunrise). At this rate I think we'll be timing the washing machine to come on at 7AM in the summer (or earlier, sunrise at the summer solstice is at 04:54BST here). After checking the forecast of course!Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0
