Are you incapable of reading?
Trust you to lower the discussion with a rude comment.
You have to realise that not everyone uses the internet, a major condition like 'not useable on sale goods' should be clearly displayed on the voucher.
T&C's hidden away are meant to deceive customers and too many people are accepting it.0 -

Just because people are too lazy / ignorant to read them doesn't mean they are there to deceive.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -

The vouchers are not the largest things and I cannot remember if the terms are also printed on the back. If they were they would be smallish.
If printed terms are not enough then I do not know what more they can do.
Also, the Tesco website makes it very clear that they can only be used on full price products.

That doesn't matter, the OP didn't know so you can only assume they wasn't told. The OP also said they were not on the actual voucher.
I do love the way you all try your hardest to pick holes in everything that's posted, it must be so much fun...............0 -

Or that they didn't read said conditions attatched to the vouchers. The OP also said they were not on the actual voucher.
And as was posted, an A4 sheet, (a copy of which is available on the link I originally posted) is attatched to the vouchers.I do love the way you all try your hardest to pick holes in everything that's posted, it must be so much fun...............
I do like the way people will continue to argue when they are clearly wrong.Best Regards

Where have I been proved wrong, all that I am saying is that companies shouldn't deceive their customers with hidden T&C's. You are obviously happy to accept this but I am not.0 -

As I said previously the terms clearly accompany the vouchers.
I have also looked in the tesco club card booklet and they make the terms clear there a well so you do not need access to the Internet.
I think Tesco and Goldsmiths have done everything they can to make it clear that the vouchers can only be used on full priced products.
Perhaps you could politely ask Sir Terry to pop around and explain the terms to you personally. :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
