Well, how could I forget this site???? Sacrilege, I know, but true!
I've managed to save £2400 in mortgage OPs since January and got cheaper car insurance that has just paid me back £70 cash on Topcashback.
Feeling rather proud.
Disappointed that I've just splashed out a load on bits and pieces while I convalesce. Money that I could have used towards the mortgage or something else.
Never mind. Next challenge is to sort my mortgage for when my discount rate runs out in Feb and see if I can find a cheaper option somewhere...0 -
I think 2400 overpayments deserves a splashout on bits and bobs. You and the cats still need some fun!0

Thank you Stedwell. That's what I told myself too! Though it does seem to go against the spirit of being an MSE-er!0

Well, you can see from my siggy that I've got various things going on now and next year. I hadn't been on this site for ages - for some reason in the summer I lost momentum totally and actually forgot about the site (). Fortunately my OPs were safe as they were on a standing order.
I am struggling with the temptation of getting a take away home delivered (if that makes sense!). I need someone to tell me that I'd feel much more fulfilled and satisfied with a home cooked meal rather than a delicious and huge portion of chinese. Please...:rotfl:0
