Hey IWAH
11.19% saved already! Good stuff. Pretty amazing really when you consider where you were a year ago and how you felt about things back then. If you're anything like me, rather than enjoy this achievement you'll already be thinking about next payday - so take some time to see how well you've done. You deserve it!
Good news re the PPI claim - or decision to claim anyway. I've never taken out PPI (I was always a bit tight/sensible with that one), but I did claim back for mortgage exit fees a few years back thanks to this site and got a few hundred pounds back. So fingers crossed for you.
Our ex woes are pretty horrible huh, really easy to get you down. I had another bad day yesterday but seem to have picked up a bit today. I wish I could just stop the random thoughts popping into my head - if you find any top tips, please let me know! Thinking of all the bad things that happened doesn't help (just get upset), thinking about the good stuff is just as bad (start pining), thinking she doen't care is upsetting, thinking she does makes me feel guilty. Arghh!
I missed the gym yesterday because I was out eating a big curry instead (!!), so I'm going tonight to make up for it. If you read this before you get settled in for the night, get your trainers on and go for a quick jog. I'm going to nag you until you do![STRIKE]Total debt 1.11.10 £23,446[/STRIKE]Save £6k in 2015 #129 £6121.66/£6000Save £6k in 2016 #39 £6000/£60000 -

Feel free!
Just popping by to say hi. Hope all is okay with you and you're remaining strong about the ex. You've definitely made the right decision there. I'm feeling a lot better now after a week of wobbles, hopefully that will be the end of it now! Grr.
Have you got any further with the PPI stuff?
I won't ask about the running because I've only been to the gym once this week![STRIKE]Total debt 1.11.10 £23,446[/STRIKE]Save £6k in 2015 #129 £6121.66/£6000Save £6k in 2016 #39 £6000/£60000 -

Hey you
How's things? Hope your week picked up and the feelings about the ex calmed down a bit. I haven't heard a peep from mine, which occasionally makes me sad (especially when I think I'll be moving to the other side of the County without seeing her again), but on the whole has been for the best. In fact, if we were still "friends", I'd probably be in two thoughts about moving. So stay firm with your no contact until you feel strong enough not to care what she thinks/does. I know how hard it is though and you really have my sympathies.
Hope work is a bit less stressful and you've managed to plan your next run (notice I just said plan it!). How about a short jog this weekend? I will if you do[STRIKE]Total debt 1.11.10 £23,446[/STRIKE]Save £6k in 2015 #129 £6121.66/£6000Save £6k in 2016 #39 £6000/£60000 -

Hi
You're definitely right about this being an opportunity for me - you might have to give me a [STRIKE]kick[/STRIKE] pep talk once in a while when I'm having the wobbles though! And yes, I think we both need to expand our social circles to meet new people of the same persuasion! Easier said than done though...
I haven't been to the gym yet, have you been for the "epic run"?[STRIKE]Total debt 1.11.10 £23,446[/STRIKE]Save £6k in 2015 #129 £6121.66/£6000Save £6k in 2016 #39 £6000/£60000 -

Hey, hope you're okay.
I was rubbish at the gym yesterday - had to have a Chinese takeaway and muchos beer to cheer myself up afterwards
Another weekend over, hope you have a less stressful week and the work pressure starts easing off a bit.[STRIKE]Total debt 1.11.10 £23,446[/STRIKE]Save £6k in 2015 #129 £6121.66/£6000Save £6k in 2016 #39 £6000/£60000 -
