  • Well done on your NSD :)
I'd have loved to have had some money put aside for all the housey things to buy when I first bought this place. Its been about 10 years but I've finally got everything I want...although stuff needs replacing now! Just think of that amazing splurge you can have when the time comes. And I guess you could start buying some bits and bobs now if you see something you like - for inspiration. Especially if its in the sales.

You don't sound like someone who feels sorry for themselves to me, just a bad week and the Januray blues. We've all had them! I think more and more people aren't getting onto the property ladder until their 30s now and they certainly don't enter into it wil no CCs or loans. So you're ahead of the game... :)

Oh and I agree re keeping work and play seperate. Never again. (Enough said!) _pale_

  • Hey, that's brilliant about the GNR! I agreed in a drunken state to aim for a 10k this year (damn you Peroni!) but luckily it seems to have been forgotten by everyone! Do you live up that way then? Should definitely motivate you to train hard...fingers crossed :)

I'm here to goad you into another run! :p
You don't want to be panicking if you're successful in the GNR ballot - so come on!

  • Well done on your run! "Just" 5k still sounds a long way to me.
I'll have to keep the momentum and get to the gym tomorrow now!

Bad luck on the petrol situation, its one of those things I begrudge having to buy. The price is beyond ridiculous now, weren't we having fuel protests when it was at just over 100ppg?! Maybe I'll start a riot....

Almost a NSD today, until I saw an offer on champagne and bought a bottle reduced from £36 down to £9 :money: and put it on a shelf in my bedroom as a physical reminder of what i'm saving for. NOT to be opened until i'm on my own in my new house and I can have a little solo celebration walking around my own home :rotfl::rotfl:

    Hi IWAH
