Thanks for that, clearly I worded it slightly wrongly, I meant the people who choose not to visit the stickies. I realise that everyone is allowed to look, although I didn't think it was supposed to be compulsory

Cheeky, my last post wasn't aimed directly at you which is why I put it in a separate post to the one I quoted you in, it's just a general attitude I've picked up on from several msers over the past few weeks xx

p.s i didn't mean it was compulsory, it's a choice, i just don't see it as being much extra effort considering regs can be reached via the main board & the stickies are easy to find as they're stuck at the top xx

First of all it looks like I was wrong when I said I thought everyone that comped from regulars used the stickies so sorry

Secondly, sorry for not having the time to properly post any of the regular FB/twitter comps I have linked. I thought it was better to have reference to them somewhere so there was a reminder to a) enter and b) post them properly. And I did quite clearly say I would do it when I had time but also that anyone else was welcome to do it instead of me. Thank you for doing it Glad, I'll clear the list and start again when I find more.

it has nothing to do with the recent changes it's just more people are aware of of the regs board/stickies now and are realising that there are comps they never knew about

as pcl explained there have always been links in the stickies that go direct to the site and not a thread on mse sometimes because people posted the comp on the sticky thread instead of starting an individual thread
she and beffffff are working their way through them when they have time (it took me nearly 2hrs to do the 9 I did earlier) so I'll echo melvis and say a big thanks to ppd, gilla, pcl and co who work hard to maintain the stickies as volunteers :T (including all the people who spot regs on the boards and post the links for them)

All of my guessedenddate comps are now showing

you maybe already be aware but just in case anyone isn't when you search for guessedenddate click on advanced search and make sure that "search entire posts" is selected

untick the checkbox "also search in child forums" this will stop the search from bringing up "guessedenddates" in GAME OVER and the search will then list only current "guessedenddate" comps

Sorry, wasn't going to post again, but until recently, all the comps listed on the stickies that went directly to the site did have their own individual threads, it's just that because of guessed end dates they've often been moved to game over.

Some of my own bookmarked daily links are dated over three years ago, and the threads will have been game overed a long time ago. Some will have newer threads either in regulars or on the main board, and some of them have probably been posted over and over again over the last few years. Some of them may no longer have an indvidual thread if the daily link was a direct one rather than to an MSE thread, but I do think that posting comps directly to the sticky thread without posting as a new comp - on whichever board - is fairly recent.

Perhaps if someone finds a daily, but are pressed for time it would be better to post it here requesting that someone create a thread and link it to the dailies, rather than just adding it to the stickies

Has anybody won anything from Myoffers.co.uk?

Some of the bigger name magazines are offering what seems like great competitions, but when you click on them they take you through to MyOffers.co.uk.

I seem to remember signing up years ago, but got fed up of all the tick box choices and offers you had to go through before your "entry" and I never heard of anybody winning.

The other competitions I would love to know if anybody has one is Good to know
