Also please don't forget that 'Get me A Ticket' is on the 'sites, from experience, which are likely to generate lots of spam' in the Comping Guide (Post number 7, item number 11) so they can say that Mr Gilligan has won as many cars as they want to, at least they leave me alone with their calls & emails etc :rotfl:

firefox has frozen so i cant reply in mse lol but ip stuff http://www.showmemyip.com/
theres lost of sites will tell you it your ip is changeable though, every router reset/restart, except in some circumstances changes it.

eta http://www.sorbs.net/lookup.shtml seems it possible to get delisted, id guess whats happened is someone had that ip addym sent abunch of spam, got balcklisted, reset router and got another one so that specific ip is released to aanother person, in this case you.

This is what I would guess anyway. I know it's not really right and the advertising methods used by these companies are a bit suspect, which is why I avoid them, but that is what I assume has happened.

I hope you're right. Mr Gilligan just won a comp for £15k too!

zygna are currently holding a sweepstakes for farmville players. requires effort of playing the game but if you do that anyway..... the info about it was hidden under the game window, it popped up as a pop up this afternoon but vanished before i could click, this time ive clicked.

if anyone wants to post it please do im not even going to attempt to try that tonight ill do something wrong. actually is it postable? or would it be frowned upon for some reason? ive never seen the treasure isle ones here but they require extra effort with quests other than just playing the game and clicking a linky to enter...what does anyone think?

It is a comp, just needs extra effort put in title, quite a few compers play it already so it will be of interest.
I wont post it as I have zero idea about farmville so couldn't explain the comp.

Hi All

Firstly can I say a big thank you to all the posters who share all the competitions on here. I have not one a thing yet but I might do, I might not, who knows!!
If I win tonight's euro millions I will probably give up comping, but I will buy you all a drink!!
My question relates to some sites I used to use prior to discovering MSE competition pages.
They are sites such as 'My Offers' which have competitions which require you to request information from a whole host of companies to enter each comp.
Are these sites legit? I feel that the competitions attached to well know businesses feel far more genuine.
It is highly likely this question is covered in another thread but I cant find it, so apologies in advance if this is covered elsewhere!!
