Well, I am still doing well. I should be hitting my silver on Monday when I get paid so I'm pleased about that:j
Am in the process of starting a new joint savings account with H, but it is taking a while for some reason (silly really as it is with Egg who I already have my ISA with)MFIT No. 810 -
Great to see how well everyone is doing.
I'm hoping to give my savings a good boost in May. Unfortunately I haven't had time to sort out this years ISA which I need to do. I love the start of April when I get my statements and can see how much interest I've received. :j My student loan should be paid off soon so that will also give my savings a welcome boost.
Have a dividend sheque to pay into my bank account so going to count up the coins in my piggybanks!
Good luck and happy saving to everyone!MFW 91 op 2014 £410/1000

£535 saved in my Coventry Family 1st (olympic challenge)

Hi
Some of my recent savings activity...
NS&I Direct ISA £3000
Citibank Savings account £2000 (that is Xmas 07 savings)
Halifax Save4it £220 (daughters account)
Then on the way is a maturing SAYE later this year with a current value of ~£8000
The OH saving activity (managed by me)...
NS&I Direct ISA £3000 06/07
NS&I Direct ISA £3000 07/08
West Bromwich guaranteed growth bond £21000
above is a mix of new (just had my annual bonus) and old money being switched around. I know NS&I is currently beatable, but I was hoping for BoE interest rate rises and the ISA to track those changes - see what happens in the near future.0 -
