    Gah, lost big post :(

    Weeeeeeeeeee..................................

That was the weekend rushing by at speed.............

    Good things:
    • Lights bought in summer finally up in living room and very nice they are too :T
    • Toilet and bathroom finished, except for hanging piccies etc which I will do Tues night :T
    • Bird food bought for winter :T
    • Parasol base for bird feeder won on ebay for £2.88, collecting tomorrow night :T
    • Boots I saw a few weeks ago purchased, £32, a lot cheaper than the £240 Hobbs ones, which looked too narrow anyway :T
    • Lovely day with DD, complete with homemade shortbread and curry :T
    • Shiny new mortgage spreadsheet :T
    Bad things:
    • Mr GG away. Miss him :(
    • Bird food bought for winter. CCard went . :(
    • Day with DD cost me lunch, and underwear for her, plus a boot full of stuff to take to charity shop for her :rotfl::(
    • Couldn't sleep last night, up from 4.30, v tired now :(
    • Had such a hard week last week I haven't recovered yet. I have aged 5 years in a week :(
    • Garden a mess, with standing water :(
    • Didn't buy spring bulbs, but too wet anyway :(
    • Wanted to empty garage to get car in. Yeah, right :(
    • Computer not rebuilt :(
    • The weekend is over :(
    Good things for next week:
    • Mr GG back :)
    • Birdies can get fed :)
    • Meeting some new peeps on Saturday :)
    • Can wear new boots :)
    • Easier week than last week :)
Have a good week all :D

    GG x

Sorry to mention "bloody Dr*pbox" :D

    Good bargain on the boots!
  • I tutted a lot catching up on your thread...

tut tut for throwing cactus and pot out - preloved/freecycle/charity
tut tut for your poor glossing technique - after painting all doors and new banister this summer I am pro glosser.
tut tut for revisiting olympics emoticons and making me scroll frantically in the office (double whammy as H&S inspectors entered office about the same time too!)

I didn't throw the pot out, I fell in retrieving the pot :o.

Nothing wrong with my glossing technique actually

(it's the lack of preparation that's to blame :rotfl:)

Ha ha serves you right for reading at work :D.

    Sulking, that's what I'm doing :(.

    Stressful day at work :(.

    Tumble dryer dead :(.

    Over £200 for a new one :(.

Jan holiday has got cheaper so will probably book this weekend, needs paying straight away :(.

Easter flights quite cheap if we go early, again, will need paid :(.

Waiting on bill from builder :(.

No money to pay for it all :(.

Upshot is I probably won't pay btl off till Dec :(.

So, like I said, sulking :(.

    Back to the gin .
To be fair, I could NOT buy a new tumble dryer, NOT book holiday and NOT book flights and pay off in Nov. So, slap myself and get over it :D.
