Today Mr GG and I found two trade cash & carry places which will sell to the public for cash :T. Now we just need to buy a house with a utility room and store cupboard. Funnily enough, as I said above......

A bigger house in Spain?Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -

Guilty as charged
.
We did set out to buy one........ well, we set out to buy an apartment by the coast to let out but a combination of:
- Value for money
- Sea breezes (Mr GG)
- 'If we're buying a place with sea views I want ME to be the one looking at them' (me)
led us astray .
We looked at lots, what fun :T. Verging from a clifftop house with stunning sea views (I didn't like it :rotfl:), a half built house and an old place needing complete renovation but we've found a lovely little house which has sea views (not frontline, but I'll live with it :rotfl:), breezes for Mr GG and with scope to improve it. It's being sold fully furnished and then some  as it's a probate sale, family are in UK and just want shot. One estate agent said if we just emptied the place out we could sell if for €20,000 more :rotfl:. Will need some work at some stage to make it more user friendly but we're hoping to do a minimum for now till we decide what works best.
In addition to the sea views it has a store cupboard and utility room :T. No pool, but as Mr GG says, there's a bloody big pool at the bottom of the road. We may be going chavtastic and getting a hot (well hopefully cold) tub for the roof
.
Partly funded with offset money, so mortgage back up to 54k, I'll be around for a while yet :rotfl:. Mainly funded by Mr GG :kisses2:.

(Sounds likes fabulous find, congrats! :T :T)a penny picker upper.
