Oh dear. You'd be in BIG trouble if you'd eaten one of my Double Deckers
And in foreign climes where that particular food source is scarce (I presume?). Tsk.a penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library0 -

There is a large UK supermarket beginning with I in the next town. I have been known to enter on occasion and purchase such items. Actually, they sell two for €1, so cheaper than you can buy in the UK!

Busy few days with [STRIKE]scheming & plotting[/STRIKE] financial planning aplenty and lots of steps :T. Having a quiet weekend to recover - though it is our village fiesta at present so we'll be going to that. Very highbrow - the itinerary includes a darts and something else (probably table football or Subutteo) tournament this afternoon. There's also a 'surprise party' - but as it's on at 4pm four days running and printed in the timetable I'm not sure how surprising it will be :rotfl:. We went down on Thurs night, Mr GG was amazed at how big an event it was, normally you can walk round our village in the evening and count the number of people you see on one hand :rotfl:. Too tired last night but the Spanish are made of sterner stuff - we could hear music at 3.40 this morning and in other years I've heard it still going on at 7am . On Thursday we 'people spotted' Spanish folk we knew from the village:
Fishmonger
Admin guy from town hall
Lots of bar staff
which pretty much sums up our experience so far :rotfl:. Didn't see the butcher or baker though and don't think we have a candlestick maker.

Nature Notes from last few days:
- Pretty red dragonfly watching Mr GG retrieve his golf ball from beneath a cactus
- 3 Bonelli's eagles doing a bit of this :T
- Mini-murmuration of starlings
- Unidentified birds which might just be magpies with short tails or may be large black wheatears. Not very good at this identification malarkey
- Lots of little brown ants on terrace feeding on fly I'd just killed . Though as I'd done a victory dance on it there wasn't much left :rotfl:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
