    ahem - I think that is a little unfair, after all, we all know what a dedicated reporter gallygirl is on matters of the natural world, and frankly, her reading public need updates! It is quite, quite clear - to us here - that gallygirl was taking the 'road less travelled' in order to collect new material for posting, and that the [STRIKE]ungodly hour[/STRIKE] early morning ;) start can clearly be explained by the need to keep out of the midday sun. Simples.

    And if you believe I wrote that without my tongue firmly lodged in my cheek, you'll believe anything ;)

    We'll probably take her to the supermarket tomorrow :D.

    Note the use of 'she' - I thought I'd ordered a boy car but she is definitely a girl, even though she's blue. She's very pretty :D.

    :eek: to the temperatures in the UK :eek:. Around 38 degrees here today, currently 23.30 and 28 degrees. Which is mucho calor :).

    No Nature Notes today :(. However some exotic birds have arrived a few miles away, may need to take LBC to explore :T. Will take ipad and camera to see what I can capture if possible.

    In money matters - TSB Regular Saver opened - 5%, max of £250 a month. Don't know how easy it is to open if you don't have a TSB account but if you do it takes less time than it's taken me to type this para, and setting up SO was also v quick. Well done TSB, superb :T:T:T. Also, pension topped up, some bills paid and other financial stuff done. Net mortgage balance is around 14.4k.

    Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

    In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

    Forgot friend's birthday on Sunday :eek: :o, but managed to find free next day delivery code :T.

    Outstanding deposit from new (first!) tenant in Accidental House received :T. Other tenant who is behind had promised to pay yesterday but decided to have a baby instead :eek:, will be paying on Monday :T.
