Well he is strictly speaking too famous but I think we can allow it on the basis you get the better end of the deal :T.Edgar Allan poe was lucky enough to go to the high school I did, and George Orwell was once treated in the hospital where I have done some work, wish I knew him ... sigh ...
Too famous - anyway you didn't see them (or just miss them :rotfl:), also should have said it can't be a work related spot as that's unfair (my game my rules)

Oh dear, forgetful and rubbish :rotfl:
Obviously far too famous so nul point for Mr MWC. Bonus point for you as you forgot :j.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Colin Baker (Dr Who) in High Wycombe Tesco (many many years ago). Elinor Bron in a (posh) Manchester coffee shop ( Mum made me honestly as it was definitely not MSE [or tight as I was then]). No HDK still has it!
ETA However I am still impressed by Colin Baker who was the current Doctor Who (much larger in real life than I expected) carrying off standing in a supermarket queue with complete aplomb. You will be relieved to know that I did not accost him (I think he was too) but just smiled at him as if he was a distant acquaintance. My son was less than impressed however as I did not get his autograph. Major Mum fail there - but hey I was a fan first!
Was it obscure you gave points for??0 -
I forgot Tom Courtney back before 1977 when he was appearing in Manchester. Seen outside student halls of residence when he was appearing at the theatre there. Absolutely awful skin. Which was what the theatre make up did to you in those days. Still enough to send the knees weak. And absolutely no Big Brother or CELEBRITY in sight.
I'm trying really hard here but guess I'm still losing - but some really nice memories whilst trying. I still say that Colin Baker gave me a nod of thanks for not ratting him out, but I would say that wouldn't I?0 -
Too famous on Colin Baker and Tom Courtenay (but a bonus point for the skin observation
). Good points for Elinor Bron though - famous but you'd have to think to get the name (or at least I would
).
Francis Wilson on a Ryanair flight to Spain - but a bit too well known really
Ohhhh, I forgot - Lewis Hamilton's dad at Luton airport - Mr GG had a chat at the security desk when they were retrieving their stuff but I had to tell him who he was :T.
All this is successfully distracting me from the impending move - otherwise I would be descending into panic mode so thanks all and keep 'em coming :rotfl:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
