I once saw Gloria huniford at a airport, Richard Lindsay, met a few nursing celebs - Chris Beasley and Peter Carter. I was presented my degree by betty boothroyd, who was new in post at the time.

Dave saw Billy.Connolly stroling down a street in New Zealand, he also saw one of the likely lads in Nottingham.

Ooh I want to join the celebrity spotting game. My most famous was literally running into Bruce Willis in Central Park while visiting NYC. I was so embarrassed as I was totally not looking where I was going and he was on the phone and when I realised who I had collided with I almost fell over. However I imagine that's too famous for you GG.

I'm usually rubbish at recognising people and when I was walking from my office to the bus stop I saw someone I recognised so waved and said hi but couldn't remember what her name was (I move jobs a lot as a contractor and often forget names of people I've worked with in the past). However once I got on the bus I suddenly realised the reason I recognised her is because she was on EastEnders. I've no idea what her real name is but she was Dexter's mum on the show and the child Cora gave up for adoption (for those that watch the show).

I think I'd make an exception for Bruce Willis :o but your second story gets mega points :rotfl:.

So how's the "impending move panic" going? What's next on the agenda, GG?

Move? What move? Tonight I am mostly not panicking about what pictures I want t take with me :D.

I don't think I can top KarmaCats celeb spot. Went to a back stage party at a Lou Reid concert once? Do I get points for that?
My rock and roll years :rotfl:

Only if you DIDN'T see Lou Reed there :).

When I was twelve I was on 'why don't you turn off the TV and go and do something more interesting instead'. Does anyone remember it? Saturday morning TV programme about hobbies.

Mega points - never heard of it :rotfl:.

So I'll submit this entry to the game - actor Nicholas Ball, who starred in the '70's series 'Hazell', seen on the Kings Road, London.

Nicholas Ball just sneaks in - Arnie way too famous. Though if you had NOT recognised him we could probably all just pack up and go home :rotfl:.

Ooohhh, so did I :T. But as I knew she was going to be there and I knew who she was nul points :(

Mega points possible for Mr Somerville depending on what he was buying (hint: please say Irn Bru :rotfl:). I think 'the bloke Melvyn' beats Lionel Blair and I am very impressed about the 'I'm a poncy dancer' air you obviously carry around with you :D.
I used to know someone who once vomited over Andrea Corr at an awards after party....?

I ran into him (yes, literally) on way out door so he had yet to purchase his Irn Bru ;) It was possibly my pirouetting through Bejam that led to the dancing mishaps:D

Oh and as a fellow Scot you might have heard of Glen Michael? I was on stage with him, he did a kids tv show with cartoons:D

Have you seriously not heard of Why Don't You?? I would have loved to be on that show. Was booked once for a crap Scottish show but it fell through - I'm afraid both what I should have been doing and the show shall have to remain secret or I'll out myself:o
