Right, back home again. Lovely break with Mr GG, did a little/lot of planning (i.e, little by my standards, lot by Mr GG's :rotfl:), a bit of exercise and chilled out :T.

Onwards and downwards :D. All a bit quiet on the money front, few tiny OP's and monthly large OP's but nothing unexpected. Which is good I expect .

Days getting longer but jeez, has it stopped raining at all :(

    Plans:
In February I will mostly be sorting out my SIPP provider . Not off to a good start as I've filed away the info from HL a bit too safely :o.

I know, am resisting it though :rotfl:. Mainly as it will hurt my brain big time when I have to read & process it ;)

Went tonight instead, 1lb on, not too bad considering we ate well on holiday :o.

Going to be a few changes finance wise, will confirm when done. In anticipation of this have been spreadsheet fiddling :D. Decided to close Smile current account which I've had for 16-17 years . It's been used just for mystery shopping money and when I empty Peefer Pig but just not worth keeping it. All MS co's swapped to 123 and will be able to pay 5 bags into NW next time I empty Peefer so that will be ok.

Next - paypal, ebay and quidco to be changed from NW to 123.

Finally - no more Tilly Tidies . Well, there will be but they will be staying in the 123 account. So any odd pennies will stay in the account but move from the left hand to right hand of the spreadsheet. This means my statements will be much shorter .

Not quite sure how I'll cope with this simplified system (will 'only' have 7 current accounts :rotfl:) but am sure I'll manage :D. In case anyone is remotely interested:
    1. 123- main personal account
    2. Main house account
    3. Current account masquerading as savings #1
    4. Current account masquerading as savings #2
    5. Reward account for £5
    6. Feeder for reg saver
    7. Overseas current account
    GG :)

Nope, it's actually moving columns on the spreadsheet so it's a real Tilly Tidy in my eyes :D.

What do you mean spreadsheets aren't real life? You are funny sometimes :rotfl:.

    Hi GG, it's Thistle,
Is it SW that you attend or WW?

Love the simplification of accounts idea - I sometimes wonder how I juggle all mine. I've got little pots of money all over the place. I'm going to have to do some consolidation as I'm sure it's not working for me as well as it could be.

    Mortgage at end 05/2007: £90200
    Mortgage at end 08/2018: £71646 paid £18354 (20.5%)
    MFD: :eek:Original:05/2042:eek:
    Car Finance: £8225 : £6392 (22.2% paid off)
    CC Debt (0% until 06/2020): £5640 : £4400 (21.7% paid off)

Age of Money at 31/08/2018 = 23 days

YNAB is changing the way I live my life....and spend my money!!

Glad you think 7 current accounts is simplifying things :rotfl:.

Gallygirl this did make me laugh :D 7 accounts certainly isn't simple but if it works then it's all good :) we have 3 current accounts, 2 cashback credit cards and 3 savings accounts, not easy to keep track if but worth it for the different rewards they bring.
