Dec 15 does seem scarily close! Who speeded up time?
I know :). Mr GG will match me pound for pound (and Tilly Tidy for Tilly Tidy :D) when we're equal so bringing my date forward brings both forward :T.

  • Hi Gally

I seem to recall that you were a fan of certain threads in the past involving dogs, bags for life and the Clampett's parking their caravan in the drive before Christmas :rotfl:

I came across this thread from the 'same' author so thought you might enjoy ;)

  • Hi Newlygirl, you're welcome, glad you enjoyed it, that poster is brilliant isn't he and I always worry how many others I might be missing under other aliases. You often only get to hear of them when others mention them so think of all the fun we might miss with no reliable way of spotting them  :rotfl:

With a smart tart, I loved it all but particularly loved that bit

So many of his lines stick in my head from the Clampetts caravan one with something like 'turns out Mrs Jones has been letting someone else park in her drive and taking her up the ninth step' coming to mind at the moment :D :rotfl: Whoever he is, he deserves an award

    So.

    House is a mess.
If I tidy that then no time to do back garden.
If I do back garden then no time to do front garden.
If I do front garden then no time to sort out washing which there is no point in doing anyway until I've put way the rest of the clean washing.
If I do laundry there is no time to take car to get cleaned and it's filthy.
If I take car to get cleaned then no time to menu plan and shop and cook.
If I menu plan, shop and cook then no time to see sick relative.
If I see sick relative then no time to talk to btl tenants and solve issues.
If I do sort out btls then no time to talk to friends and family and make arrangements to see them that I then have to cancel as I'm too busy. So I will die all alone, surrounded by newspapers .
If I do talk to them then no time to do banking.
If I do banking then no time to come on here.
If I come on here then no time to have a bath.
If I have no time to have a bath then I need to have a shower in the morning, in the shower that doesn't drain properly as I have no time to fix it.
If I fix the shower I have no time to sort out the paperwork in the study, meaning the paper gremlins take over.
If I sort out the paper gremlins I don't have time to keep myself 'trimmed' meaning I resemble a gremlin also :o.
If I keep myself 'trimmed' then the place becomes a mess.
    Repeat ad infinitum.

    Sound familiar to anyone?

Pinch & punch for the first of the month, no return :D.

Well, mortgages gone out of one account. But no DD's out of main account. They obviously don't want my money, which is fine with me :rotfl:. It does mean no pennies to TT though :(.

Busy few days coming up with lots of travelling coming up and no opportunity to make progress on the conundrum above (though will try to phone a friend ). But will nearly be the weekend when it's over :T.
