Cheeky bloke eh? I would never buy something like that for anyone at work as it is just a bit cringey isn't it. A friend maybe, who would take it a bit jokily. Great reply from you though.
Our old head of department was put in charge of buying a present for a pregnant colleague and bought her nipple cream. Us ladies were sat cringing at that one too, and he said, well I thought it would be helpful as my wife found it really useful. :rotfl:0 -

Actually we get on really well, he's small, ginger & Jewish so a bit of well deserved payback for him :rotfl:. And there are lovely recipes in there and a lot of good info which I'd meant to arm myself with, so I'm actually really pleased with it.
Some of the weeks I wanted to take off next year, with Bank Holidays in, are a bit awkward because of work so I'm a bit restricted and can only take certain days. That means I'm having to think hard about how to best use my leave so:
Saddo Alert:
Have just invented a VFL (Value For Leave) Score. VFL = Annual Leave/Days Away, in other words how much leave does a day on holiday cost me, so the lower the score the better. I can use it to take into account bank holidays, weekends, 1/2 day flexi etc and get value for my annual leave.
A Sat to Sat with no BHols = 5 leave days/8 days, score of 0.625. I'm looking to beat that. So far I've come up with:
Easter 3/8 = 0.375
Whitsun 3/8 = 0.375 or maybe 13/6 = 0.46
I'd been thinking about New Year - Mr GG will not want to go in case anything goes wrong at work but I am lucky enough to get the 3 days off between Xmas and New Year as extra leave. Going on Weds 28th & coming back Tues 3rd is 0.5/7 = 0.07so seems rude not to . I think I will speak to Mr GG, fall out with him & sulk, weigh up whether I'd sooner spend NY with him in the wet & cold or go to Spain without him & hopefully get some sunshine. Tough call . Not trying to prejudge outcome, but I've priced up flights (dear _pale_) and car hire (cheap
) just in case, and mate has her case packed .
End of Saddo Alert.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

After 5 hours gardening & 1/2 hour wiifit, I very much doubt it
Just paid payment of £4.14 to btl, amazon & cashback. To those who say it's not worth it - it didn't change the the payoff date, but it saved me £2.49 in interest. That's a 60% ROI. How can that not be worth it :T?
