Decided my suspicions about aerial were correct. End is the right sex but has funny narrower fitting, will investigate at lunchtime and see what I can get.
Clock stopped at 55 minutes, BT -25 and counting.
. 1st aerial was the correct one but I hadn't given box enough time to start up - turns out in eco mode it takes about 10 hours or something
. Switched to lower eco mode (which uses x17 the electricity of the lowest mode on standby ). Great picture and I've lost all the rubbish programmes that [STRIKE]made life worth living[/STRIKE] were not good for you such as One Year to Save my Life, Fat Families etc :rotfl:.
HD pictures are quite good really, says she, joining the 21st century :rotfl:.
In other news - £10 Tilly Tidy :T.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Up at stupid o'clock as wide awake .
3 loads of washing done (1 on timer) and 2 dried on economy 7 :T.
£3 off £20 spend in Sainsbugs, plus extra points for wine & coffee so planning on spending £28 there later (£20 wine, £2 yogurt, £6 coffee). Also £5 off £30 in Lidl which will be a bit of a challenge - much prefer Aldi, don't know Lidl products as well. (My local Lidl tends to get populated by the 10am cider drinkers ).
Unusual work related spends required later, not sure I'll be able to get them . Also off to London for a meeting so will be trying to get wifi on train.
Registered online for loyalty card for Countrywide, where I get my bird food from, will be stocking up soon. Bought the birdies a nice bath the other day, reduced from £30 to £15 and went through till at £9 :T.
I have a £20 M&S credit note to use and it just so happens I'll be near a large store. Planning on some leggings so nothing exciting
.
No pennies to Tilly Tidy but pay day tomorrow so money shuffling to do then. But also £600 bill .

Our local L!dl has good veg early in the day, plus chorizo (not if dieting I guess
). Their tinned kidney beans are good. Doesn't add up to £30

:j Pay day :j
So, monthly money shuffle has begun.
I had some money left at end of monthso OP'd it. Plus the vouchers I used yesterday and Halifax reward from CCard as I OP that when I reconcile bill to various accounts, plus a Tilly Tidy. Just under £101 overpaid in addition to monthly sum :T. Actually, I know why - it's because we were paid on Friday instead of BH so there was an extra week's cash in there.
As long as tenants pay rent I can afford to pay mortgages, insurances etc and workman .
Have tried to reconcile 2nd ccard and hopelessly confused myself. Had bought a lot of clothes, most of which went back, refunds on there this month, items paid for last month. Need to credit my savings account with £200 but can't work out how to do it and actually I think most of that £200 has already been 'refunded' as CC DD was for a lot less than the bill and they knock off credits from what they take. Which means I really need to transfer the £200 from my current account to savings, which should probably have been done a few days ago, meaning instead of being £100 in credit I would have been £100 overdrawn. And because I've OP'd the amount I was in credit (and obviously can't take it back, even though it's only in a savings account
) I'm not projected to have a £200 surplus anyway........
Comprende? If so, please explain to me :rotfl:.
Happy Bank Holiday .
