Hurry up postman :rotfl:.
Shopping lists 2 & 3 written (aldi & asda) & vouchers at the ready. Need to go back to Mr T as think I was over-charged for wine . Did a reasonably big shop there last night, the coupon part of the receipt is as long as the items, plus there were extra points coupons. £20.02 off so that will be a nice Tilly Tidy and take Mr GG debt below 44k :T.
Ordered my birthday pressie from Mr GG - it was out of stock where he tried but I tracked it down, though it may not arrive in time
.
Looking forward to BT Sport & footie season starting today.
3 weeks 5 days till holiday :T. Entering comps as I'm on a hat-trick of big wins while on holiday :rotfl:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Oh heck
. MWC's post about regular savers ending made me look at mine. The FD 8% has a good few months to go but the NW one I thought ended in Sept has its 12 months up next week . Sent them a message to check. I can top up my flex direct account to 2.5k but that still leaves a few grand. I could bung it in my Santander account (so would need some extra columns on own spreadsheet
), but at 3% - 40% tax I'd only get 1.8% so maybe better off paying lump sum off BTL. Mr GG's is only 6 weeks behind me so that's another 3k+.
All bar flex direct top up off the mortgage. Final answer.

GG if your N/wide regular saver is the same as mine, I read it that the introductory rate ends 31 October regardless of how many months you had the account...Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
Mortgage-free: January 2021
Retired: June 2022 (186 months early!)0 -

Mine is still a bleedin' twig!!! I sent a photograph to T&M and they told me not to worry as the plant is rooting itself into the ground .... I know that Scotland is behind when it comes to gardening stuff but really???!!!! GG I will email you a photo (you also US if you like?)February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D

GG - I now want a fridge thingy. Lately I have felt that something's been missing in my life and I think that this may fill the void - although I would quite like my fridge thingy to be a SMEG (as yet colour undecided:o)February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

Can't wait for the twig photo. I've got an image of it already in my head so will be goods to see if it matches
.
Night out with friends last nice, lovely meal and Mr GG paid :kisses3:.
Ebay now back up to £14.05 but no takers on other items. I have a load of stuff to list for friend, hopefully I can get photos taken and start to write descriptions for next FLW.
Need to pack up old printer as DD's has decided to give up the ghost. Obviously, being the tidy soul I am, I've already chucked out box of new one so will need to be creative. OK, to be honest I chucked it out because that was easier than putting it in the loft :rotfl:.
Spent over an hour this morning reconciling a savings account. It's the one I have monthly savings in, but also own BTL money, plus paying back what the monthly savings had 'borrowed' from BTL last year and I'd got really muddled. With a bit of creative accounting (if in doubt, charge it to holidays) it now balances :T.
