Watching the news about Cyprus, really scary stuff , 100k is really not a lot of money for people who have a retirement pot etc. what a mess

Things really bad here. In the village at least one bar has closed and we haven't seen another open yet. But Mr GG and I get SO frustrated by the lack of promotion of businesses and tourism. For example, we had a long walk yesterday (by the sea
) (in the sunshine
), deciding where to have lunch. So many places don't have a menu outside, or will say menu of the day but no idea what it is, or how much. As a matter of principle we won't eat in any of them! Ended up in a great place with lovely menu outside, fab food, great value and very busy :T
Holy Week very big out here but I can only find out the schedule of processions for one town, who do a podcast in English which the local radio link to on fb. Nothing on the other towns, in any language, yet it really should be promoted - it's fab :T and though the bars will be busy with locals surely they want tourists in as well
Outside at the mo, air definitely warmer today :T, off to check wages in!A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
