Right, on a mission to recoup cost of glasses.......... Work will pay some I think. The rest will come from mystery shopping. Just logged onto one board and as the job I did yesterday has been accepted I can see and accept more. So, 4 more booked:
Sunday lunch today in nearby town I was planning on visiting :T
Next week - bookies (will be so obvious I am a MS, why not just get you to go in and put a bet on rather than faff about doing stuff like playing machines. Still, may win a fortune
- I did win £80 on a footie bet once when I did a MS :j).
Week after - health food shop (may fail the test and not be allowed in :rotfl:)
Week after that - posh buttie at airport before holiday. Best try out site on Playbook and make sure free internet access at airport.
So, all in all, with yesterday's fee, 1/3 of the way there for spends prompted by MS but needed (it was on my 'really need to stop avoiding thinking about this' list ). Better than the time I did MS and accidentally bought a car :rotfl:. Best not look for any shops at estate agents.

So I am tickling my dog's tummy to break the momentum.
I wouldn't worry too much nats, after a while of inhaling the fumes you'll be too high to care that it isn't coming off in one go. We discovered some very questionable choices of colours when we stripped back the cornicing in our porch this summerknow thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -

love that you went on a mission to earn money and ended up spending it. seems like you have a common theme running through of accidental purchasesPositivity is the key there is a reason why life happens. Find your rainbow and ride it.0 -
Hi GG, well done on your MS, sounds like a good way of offsetting cost.
How are the onions going down?

love that you went on a mission to earn money and ended up spending it. seems like you have a common theme running through of accidental purchases. I've been aware for a while that both reading and driving glasses needed replaced and though I'm trying to find extra money for them there is money in my monthly savings pot to cover. Honest injun

Leeks out - 2 (soup)
Onions in - 0

Cancelled the bookies shop as I was stressing over it.
£2.76 Asda Price Guarantee voucher found but needs to be spent by Weds. Should be ok :T.
Went shopping this afternoon. Planned purchases - bird seed, MS lunch, few bits from Aldi.
Unfortunately the town I went to has lots of nick nacky shops .
Fortunately they were shut.
Unfortunately the sales were on in East, Phase 8, Joules and Monsoon .
And unfortunately they were open .

I read something recently about onions.....
On the good side, a peeled and sliced onion is good for collecting germs and bacteria - so if you have a cold or flu etc, sleep with an onion next to you and you'll start to feel better by the next morning. On the other hand the onion will look minging as it will have absorbed all of the germs.
On the bad side - once sliced and peeled, they should be cooked straight away if you are cooking with them and not left. Since they collect all of the germs and bacteria, the last thing you want to do is consume them.
No idea if this is true or not but something to think about!0 -
