I went to get my eyes zapped but wasnt eligible as my corneas were too thin. Was gutted as had planned to do for years so after much thought decided to have implants. Quite revoluntary at the time (suspect probably is) but was my 30th birthday present to myself as cost a lot:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: but now have perfect vision. Did also involve theatre, overnight stay and a few weeks of work (BUT Im worth it!!!)

Years after my DH refers to my eyes as what would have been a new kitchen. Have now moved and hasnt mentioned since,

Ps the weeks off work were fab, pre christmas and I was fine but couldnt risk work due to MRSA so just had a lubly time! However dont feel guilty as average 1 day off sick every 2-3 years (including having no time off during 3 pregnancies)

I really must learn to multi-quote:o

You see that little button with two speech bubbles in different colours? Click that and a tick will appear on it. Then choose another post and click "quote" and behold, both will appear for you to reply to at once.

How funny, when I read that you had implants instead, thought you meant breast implants at first!! :rotfl:

Can't get my eyes zapped as only one good eye so too much risk if it goes wrong.

Am talking myself out of lenses already . Would still need reading glasses for the mornings etc before lenses are put in - would want to get new ones with right prescription so why bother with both???????

On the other hand, being able to see all day would be nice :).

Nat, to multiquote, instead of pressing the multiquote button, press the one next to it with 2 speech bubbles. Do it on each post you want then press reply and like magic they all appear :T

Mr GG has pointed out Lois had already answered. Not all up to date posts appeared this morning so missed it :o. However, as I pointed out to Mr GG, Natty probably needs it explained a few times before it sinks in ;).

Natty wanders back in, not realising that her slippers are on the wrong feet, and they're not even her slippers. Stares at the wall for a bit, forgets why she's here in the first place, then wets herself.

I have just brushed on another coat of nitro, will leave to bubble then scrape off. Which would be therapeutic had all layers off paint come off at the same time to reveal lovely wood - however this is not the case, and as a result it is becoming a frickin' pain in the bahookie.

So I am tickling my dog's tummy to break the momentum.
