Loving the update ...great progress on most fronts :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

I can really relate to this GG. when I was learning German at University this confused me a great deal. Especially as the elementary German at school was taught the same way as English - no mention of participles etc.. just this is the right way to do it!

Great progress - glad you are enjoying your time in Spain.

I loved learning languages...until we got to the grammar stage and then I really struggled. I never learned English grammar so was never going to do well. I would like to go back to my languages at some point but probably need to address this first!

When I'm writing for the blogs, I sometimes open up a tab showing the its/it's rule. I'll get my coat while I'm at it :)

I understand that one, it is the construction of sentences and what each part of it is called. I am going to look on the web now, there must be something to stop me feeling so thick!
