ZTD, I love it!!! Honestly imagine being hungover and the wailing noise from this thing and being far too hot because we'd fell asleep with the heating on! AAARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!'The road to a friends house is never long'0

oooooooooooooooo firemen - what a lovely topic to wake up to. Maybe I'll have to break mine just so they come and visit
One small step for ME, one giant leap for my family!
2015 - my Amazon Gift Certificate mini challenge - saving to buy small household electrical items.

Thats it, I am *so* getting a fire alarm from the local authority :rotfl: I can't possibly miss out on those joys :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
After I wasted all that time yesterday morning, I gave myself a bit of a talking to today - thinking of my sister, and she's out of the house for 12 hours a day. And you know, I'm not really ill any more - I do want to be careful about coming into contact with large crowds, cos my immune system must still be weak, but really, its stamina that I need, and I need to *use* my energy for that, not husband it so closely.
So. Onwards and Upwards, as my old diary said
- have set up dishywishy2, but I don't think I set him going
oops.
- cleaned the sink. Not shiny, but good enough
- cleaned out my tea and coffee cupboard - *my* grubbiness in there, not the previous owners' - its definitely become my house :rotfl:
- done emails and whatnot.
- done the birdfood.
- for quite a bit of yesterday, I was getting a "life" folder together - tips that people have given me on here about cleaning, the diy lists I had for each room when I first moved in (lots of ticks on those, its lovely!), updating makeup, professionalising a blog, which houseplants are best to have, all sorts of things. All part of making sure that what I do fits into the longer term plan.
No to-do list yet, another cup of tea is calling.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I think I need to come over for that cup of tea when you have the firemen round KC

You've got your hearthrob :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: mind you, a bit of pointless ogling never hurt anyone
I'll let you know :j 2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Well, as fabulous, gorgeous, divine, handsome etc etc as MrA is *swoon* be still my beating heart
, I'm sure he wouldn't begrudge me an ogle, after all, a man in uniform, is a man in uniform!! (Would be very different if he was talking about nurses mind you, lol) 0 -
But instead you feel the need to advertise it's cold. Twice. Blokes aren't *that* interested in the weather you know...
:rotfl: Z that REALLY made me laugh!!

When my fire alarm kept going off because of toast or something i usually take it off the wall and stick it upside down on the chair whilst telling it to shut up!
Now the fire alarm doesn't go off but my cat has taken to crying and trying to escape the living room when she smells something burning! strangely she wants to get in the bedroom she doesn't scarper out the cat flap.
Hang about a minute - what are tea towels meant to be used for if it's not fanning the smoke alarm?!
ANYONE WHO DOESN'T HAVE A WORKING SMOKE ALARM - SORT IT OUT, TODAY. BEFORE YOU GO TO BED TONIGHT. OH, AND WHILE I'M SHOUTING - WHEN YOU BREAK DOWN ON THE HARD SHOULDER OF THE MOTORWAY, GET OUT OF YOUR BL00DY CAR! YES, EVEN IF IT'S RAINING!
Apologies for shouting all over your thread KC - I feel strongly on those subjects though.
KK nobody should be begrudged a man in uniform - it just wouldn't be right! :rotfl:🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
