Off to the town I used to live in, as the shops and exhibitions there are brill, I need a day like that. One little mse dilemma is that if I go on the coach, I can hop off at a Tatco superstore - they have the best prices for pumpkin seeds and cashew nuts, believe it or not :rotfl:or they did last week when I was comparing. I'm not going till the dishwasher finishes doing its thing, tho, so I have a little time2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hi KC :hello:
I just wanted to say, before you stop your diary, um, thank you for starting it in the first place.
As I've probably mentioned, I caught sight of the title of your diary about this time last year, having spent all my 'MSE' time previously in 'another' forum area on the site. I was so intrigued by the title, that I clicked on for a look.
What I discovered, through your diary, was that there were a whole bunch of people who were in a range of financial situations, who were keen to help each other out/support each other; who could have a laugh and a joke, and had fantastic senses of humour. But above all who could converse with each other about a wide range of subjects from the silly to the down right serious with warmth, intelligence, empathy and insightfulness.
I had all but decided to give up on MSE this time last year, as I was fed up of the petty squabbles that continued to erupt on a particular forum area. Squabbling doesn't help anyone's situation. However, as I read your diary, and got to 'know' several people in the DFD/DFW forum area, I decided to hang around a bit longer, as MSE once again became a pleasurable place to be.
Well, time has moved on and I'm still here (cue pantomine stylie *boo*, *hiss*, *gerroff willya* :rotfl:). And I'm glad that you will still be 'around' even without a diary.
Thanks Karmacat.
