I had bought a National Trust metal bottle, but its got lots of clanky bits attached to the top, and it doesn't work for me (work as in, thats not what I want !).

Why don't you take them off?

Well since it requires either fruit or vegetables to operate, it's no good for me...

What did I start :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:this is brilliant, I miss such a lot with not being able to get onto the net regularly in the evening! Seems like these people doing a market pitch for knives in the supermarket have been trolling up and down the country for weeks!

Why don't you take them (the clanky bits on my NT metal water bottle) off?
Because its not decorative, its a D ring wotnot to attach it to a belt or a daysack or something - might well come in handy at some stage, just not in my house :p

Just got back from a lovely weekend in Plymouth with DD, DSIL, DGS and DH - now how did I forget him? - to discover that I am deprived.

I have never had a 'a stainless steel veggie spirally thing'.

In fact I have never heard of a 'a stainless steel veggie spirally thing'.

And then to discover that Shaun got one FREE!

Somebody please try it and report - Inquiring Minds Need To Know.

Or transport me to Cap'n Jaspers at around 10 each morning for breakfast.

Poor you! :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: and DT is missing out too :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:. Nor Cheery, but I don't think she minds :p I think you can both tell from the regularity with which people use it, that your lives are not too bleak and diminished from the lack of a veggie spirally thing :D

Plus, can I just say, **wow** to Capn Jaspers - loving the menu, with a quarter pounder vege burger, and help yourself relishes to the burgers and rolls - and a bit of choice for veggies in those too :j:j a transporter beam centred on Plymouth would do very nicely.

Thanks Gill! I was wondering about that, actually - up to April is a good long time away.
