Never went to the OS board, got stuck on here for **hours**.... when I finally switched it off, after nibbles, I got out into the garden for a good long while - cut some grass (with shears :o:o:o - its okay, I'm insane ), chopped back *more* ivy, bagged more nasty mossy stones for dumping, did actually dump one small lot, bagged lots more "soil" from under the kitchen window. It went well :j

I used to do my garden with shears! It's a very cheap outlay and I just used to cut a winding path down to the shed and leave the rest wild. It was awesome :D

Sounds like you've had a fab weekend
  • Good morning. Between Taxi here at 2:50 and me at 5:50, your diary had a very short rest.

I read the article by Alys in the Guardian and thought of you.
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

Thanks for that, vl! I'm glad somebody else does it! I suppose I feel so crazy doing it because I actually have a strimmer myself, plus an electric lawnmower my sister gave me, but somehow I can't bring myself to use them :question::question: in any case, the plan is to widen the borders quite a lot, so there are at least two "rows" of plants - espaliers/things that need height at the back, herbs and whatnot at the front. There'll also be room needed for the container-y things I've got for growing tatties :)

Morning Tricia! Thank you :kisses3: And you're right, the diary seems to have been bouncing overnight, just a little :rotfl: I know Taxi's often a nightowl, but this was *early* for you - hope you were getting up on purpose, and not just sleepless :kisses3:

I slept pretty well :j and I've just been happily admiring some rosehip recipe links that RT sent me :kisses3:

Today, hmmm, this is the list:
    - meditation class! Dropin, no compulsion, not till 7.30 tonight - I *feel* like I'll go to it, and I think the alternative of not doing anything and having no excuse (apart from not-wanting) to go to the local thingy will ensure that I go :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    - got a reference to write, that must go off today.
    - bit more work in the garden - a bit of ordinary weeding and planting, a bit more digging up clods to widen the borders, and a bit more getting rid of stones (i.e. a local walk :)).

Plus a few bits and bobs online ....

And another cup of tea :coffee:

  • Hey up excellent progress!

I cut my 'what pretends to be a lawn' with the mower, I should have used the strimmeer, couldn't face it. I think I'm scared of the strimmer!

Have a great day I'm tootling off in a mo :)

Rosehips now we've got those I might go a foraging with mutley later
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
