How exciting about the course :) Glad scan went OK, hope you get results soon and they're helpful.

The organic/ foraging stuff is interesting.. guess you can only do the best with what you have/ where you are/ the information (or "information") available :)

Absolutely .... doing our best where we are, thats the thing. I purposely did v little yesterday, and it worked, managed to go out in the evening with the whole taxi out/lift home thing, and feel okayish now. Tho that means another day of doing as little as possible to recuperate, tho its a busy day, tbh: working phone call, friend from yesterday is coming round for peer supervision, and an actual in-the-flesh client at 3pm. Thats okay, its just a question of putting the washing away now :D

  • Oh now of interest I hear that Ms Flowers - the one with the name that's not spelt like that - has a new book imminently out about foraging.........might be an interesting borrow from the library.

I've got it on my 'if I'm a good girl I can buy it list' - I do like her books.

    Hope you're actual-in-the-flesh client goes well :)

    I love our Alys :)

Work done, a very late lunch noshed, a 15 minute walk around as many of the grassy spaces as I could fit in .... got changed, and thats it, I'm done. Phew .... I survived. I was a bit worried about this 24 hours just gone, but it was okay - earning potential unimpaired :)

Good stuff KC, glad you're ok :)

Funnily enough, I read a review on Amazon of the book I didn't just buy (edible garden I think) ,and someone said they were hoping for a bit more about foraging, but Alys's advice basically just said 'buy a good reference book' :rotfl: Reviewer wondered whether that meant she was writing one - and seemingly it does :rotfl:

So there's the trick kids - when writing your book, advise people that they NEED the next one you're writing too :p

(walking round lots of green spaces sounds good too KC :T )

Hi Cheery - Alys is a very clever girl, obviously :)

Lunch was so late, I'm only now thinking, mmm, I need to **eat** ... okay, I confess, I've been ogling first floor and above flats in Southport, only the ones that have lifts - pensions, life after retirement, and lock-and-leave to winter abroad are much on my mind :D

I just watched Escape to the Country and a couple were returning from Cyprus because they missed the cold and the greenery.

    Southport is sounding good.
