Hi KC, not caught up fully but it sounds like you have been a bad girl and doing too much. This is always easy to do when having a good day so something for you to be aware of maybe. With regards to freecycle. I have recently started to use it and so far so good but I have heard some very funny sob stories. Like Kittykins I tend to state that it is first come first served so to speak as it is the easiest way rather than me worrying over who I have picked. Definitely report anybody who is offensive in any way to the moderators. Cheek of some people when getting something for nowt is beyond my comprehension.

Evening KC, agree with all the others that the freecycle person was quite rude. It's common courtesy thats missing sometimes.

Is it just me or does anyone else get the temptation to wave 'Hello' when they see the word aloe vera? No, must just be me then :-)

KC - do you seriously have lots of Trex? I need to make yoghurt pot fat balls with my little girls' group next Tuesday and would happily buy it off you - I've not made them before and have no idea of the quantities required, so am happy to have too much rather than too little :)
  • Hey KC - eek to freecycle hassles - its always been OK here - but folk tend to vary.

With the trex stuff I put a block in a feeder (with seeds on the table) and let them feast on it - I had the best of intentions of putting stuff in the fat (making fat balls) but I never got round to it, very lazy!!! However, when they liked it without anything worked for me.

I did check with a local rspb person who said as long as I had food out too, the fat on its own wouldnt' be a problem.

:) by the way hello! :)

( we did leave them here though - well, in little baskets rather than balls :D Blue tits have been having a right old feast! :T)

KC - it's not just you, my mum has an aloe vera on the windowsill and every morning opens the curtains and says "'ello, Vera" :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Cheri - I think I have been doing too much - its hard to know quite how to balance it - and of course, its changing all the time. Very bad tho :D

Gill - nope, you're not the only one - see Squizz's post :D:D:D

Kittikins - I have about half the tub left - you don't need to pay me for it, of course you don't! You're making fat balls, thats what I bought it for. Not enough to make it worthwhile to make a special trip tho, or to send through the post. Do you pass HH at all? If not I'll try to start using it again, in the plant saucer thing (which is still out in the garden :o) but you're very welcome to it.

Pippi - hi! poor you, still working on the thesis and still suffering with the tooth :grouphug:

turfy - thanks! The last freecycle person didn't turn up, and didn't email me, so the walk was literally only about 5 minutes, just up one side of the rec. field and back again, but I'll do my 15 minutes today. In fact, I only have one (long) session today, so I *might* go to Sainsbo, I'm really not sure.

I'm just having brekkie and working through Martin's email at the mo, so back in half an hour or so with my list for the day. I hope everyone's doing well.

Morning Hypno! I'm mostly taking all the suppplements I've got, tho I'm still not doing the detox - I might try the berocca or the floradix too ....

Today's list is light on purpose (worries about doing too much, blah blah ...):
    - phone/fb two colleagues - not stressful.
    - continue the insurance saga .....
    - cook pancakes. Because I Can :D

I'm very tempted to use my walk to go to either Sainsbury or Claire's Accessories (I've seen the 10 for £10 offer in Martin's email) ... definitely need to get out today, but it depends how I feel mid afternoon.
