People on freecycle can be such drama queen, she needs to get a life and stop being rude! Grrrrr

I vote for that option! Someone I know helps to run their local freecycle, and while a lot of people are great, there are a lot of, er, less great ones on there too! Some people don't seem to understand that it's not like buying an item from a shop, they need to be patient and flexible about picking things up. I guess she probably thought that emailing was sufficient, so maybe you need to be a bit clearer in future - i.e. say "please PHONE before coming to collect" - most people I know find it easier to set up a definite time (or at least, say, a two hour time window) in advance so they know what's happening. Anyway, she's a bleep!

Thats one thing I sadly have to agree with :rotfl: my landline number was in the middle of a paragraph, and it wasn't plain enough, very possibly.

**must** phone the insurer today. Thats the only thing on my list - I'm sure I'll do more, of something or other, I won't lounge in front of the tv the whole day, but I'm not putting any pressure on myself whatsoever today

KC i also vote for that option.
I have to admit sometimes i was folk like that which stopped me listing on freecycle. That and the obviously false sob stories you got from some folk. I was also not good at deciding who to give stuff to if more than one person replied.
Take it easy today, especially if you've overdone it. any chance of sitting near a window or outside and getting some vitamin D? we've nice sunshine here.

When I give on freegle (KC are you on freegle or freecycle locally?), I tend to give to the first person who contacts me, I just want rid!

I once had a very strange man come to pick up a christmas tree stand. He messed me about with when he could come and I said no problem, I'll just put it in a bin liner and leave it outside the front door so you can come whenever suits you as it won't be in anyone's way. He kept on asking for my phone number and/or saying that he would rather come when I was in.

I told him he would have to take it on my terms or not at all! Wierdo.......

Definately don't let the strange ones from free*cycle bother you!!!

Through free*gle, we've had some interaction with the worst life has to offer, but also some of the nicest, kindest well mannered folk you'd ever come across (thankfully the majority).

Be like a duck with water and let her negative vibes roll off you!

On another note - the blulight thingy has now been used for about 5 days by both of us - seens to help me get over the slumps in the day - not sure how it's affecting overall energy levels - OH says he's not sure yet, but I can say that he's tossing and turning less at night, which I hope means he's getting better sleep - will report more to you once we figure out what it's actually doing!!

I've finished work now, and I'm waiting for the last one to collect stuff - another two aloe vera plants to new homes. So I can't go far, but I'm going to do another cup of tea and just walk up and down the other side of the road, which still has all that sun - its in my back garden right now, and the birdies are feasting :j

Just thinking, if you do have serious problems with a Free-whatever person (whether time wasting, wanting personal contact etc), it's worth contacting the moderators of the group - they do try to keep an eye on what's going on and watch out for dodgy people so they *should* be happy to take any feedback.

Have a nice walk Karma.. did you ever make fat balls for the birds? Ours have nibbled the outsides but then abandoned them!

Ooh, thats a good one - also helps with the perspective thing, no way would I have made a complaint about her - thanks Squizz.

The fatballs - I never made actual balls, at first I put the Trex into a plantpot saucer, with sunflower seeds and raisins that had been soaked for a day. Then I changed and bought some cheap bread and used the Trex like butter on that - and they loved it! But then the pigeons took over, so I stopped .... I'm left with a lot of Trex :rotfl:
