Hope the lurgy just pootles off! Limiting internet time seems to be a common theme with people at the moment -was thinking about it last night.. online stuff is a big part of my 'social' life.. but then with real friends you're not in touch 24 hours a day.. so.. yeah you can still have all the good without constantly being online. And of course the odd splurge of just random surfing, just as you sometimes need to slob out and watch rubbish TV or read trashy magazines.. :)

KC apologies if I've mentioned this before but my OH swears by echinacea which he takes when he feels like he's going down with something. xx

Thanks folks :kisses3::kisses3::kisses3: I think I just exhausted myself with working after my mum left at the same rate as I was working for that fortnight before she turned up. Just too much, at my advanced age :D

I'm cancelling things left right and centre, and vitaminising and supplementising like there's no tomorrow. I *do* have some echinacea, I'd stopped taking it as there was a query about how it interacted with arthritis, but I think the most important thing is the anti-lurginess, so I'll go back on it - thanks for reminding me, Ellidee.

Today - minimal. There's a few emails, true, and one hour of paid work, otherwise its pottering, with no goal to stress out about.

  • Glad you're looking after you! Minimal is good, with nothing to worry about - enjoy your day.

Red I'm with you and the online socialising stuff, but you're right reading a book or having a natter all good :)

Right I've the tax office to call - yergh

I have one of the mugs he made for family for the Queen's Silver Jubilee back in 1977 :o when I was going to *be* family :o

So I could do a pottery day :D:D:D

Otherwise .... erm, virtual pottering on the computer :p

They really, really are ... there used to be a 19th century cider press there, which they *used*, every year - my partner of those days slept in the yard one night, after testing the latest batch - couldn't get across it to the house :D

Hard times too - his mum used to collect nettles from hedges to make nettle soup ....

    Very exciting tho!

Right, another day, another dollar .... American currency was used in Liverpool, dontcha know, I'm not going all Americanised. Except when I am :D:D:D

Well, I don't know where all this lovely weather is that was promised - its so grey here, its almost misty:eek: I disapprove intensely, and shall complain to the weather gods, aka the Met Office.

I actually worked in the garden yesterday! Finished absolutely everything by 5pm tho - I'd been thinking about my niece and nephew, doing internships in London - no pay, and out of the house for 12 hours a day, like my sister, so I was trying to work 12 hours a day. Knocked that on the head this week, and feel better for it. Still fighting stuff off, but I seem to be winning :j

So, today, one hour paid work, go to the bank, bit of food shopping, and fill in the form for the MRI scan I'm having tomorrow (for this arthritis-in-my-shoulder-that-might-not-be-arthritis). I may condescend to do 5 minutes vacuuming, because I suspect some dust allergy, or experiment with a tiny little fruit pickle thing from foraged fruit and whatnot, but thats it. Oh, a relaxation/meditation exercise.
