Hi Bob! Thanks EH - I'd never come across that page before, thats excellent. Sadly, there's nothing I can use for today, but as I'm trying to plan in more excursions, that will be really useful. And I'll be holidaying in North Norfolk again this year!

Today, I'm off to London - and I'm going to be earning a *pitiful* amount, really bad. At least the net for the trip is in the black, not the red, but really, its not far off. Commitments, service, all of that. I have a new London client starting in a fortnight, so that will help a lot.

Been tidying this morning, more to do, and once I've done that, I'll have a look at the trading and get some food going, to take with me.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Ooh, I forgot - I asked Toluna where my voucher was from 1 November, and they said they're about to send it. And I got my Pigsback voucher too - very nice, and its valid at a lot of places.

EDIT - I was mooching so long I got crossposted *twice* :o:o:o

Turfy, the wedding is my 2nd eldest nephew, not me! Posh!

Squizz, thanks for that - it looks really good.

KC - Just spotted on mse that Jaeger has a sale on with upto 70% off. Lots of nice classic trousers online, but their sizing is very generous to put it mildly!! So you'd need to try them on. Could be worth seeing if you can spot a Jaeger shop whilst in town if trousers are on your wardrobe wish list.

I must admit I find Jaeger good quality normally which will last, but also a bit 'staid' but if you can pick up good classic bits in the sales it's good. Then you can add the flair with other bits from elsewhere.

Nobody believes me when I say I go to the therapy centre, work, and come home again ... but thats what I do :o either there's no time to go anywhere, or I don't have the energy. Today, I might well hoick out the other stuff I've got sitting in the wardrobe, and see if any of it fits, temporarily - I really don't fancy clothes shopping today

Hello! I'm going to have a play today - I couldn't cope with arranging anything/seeing anyone, but I'm going to walk over to the road I've been ogling on rightmove, solidify the dreams a bit more. Also doing some errands on the way - getting rid of some broken glass, some stuff to the charity shop, that sort of thing. Nice mix. And sew the blasted curtains :rotfl:

    Morning KC

you seem to have got lots done this week, or at least made a start on stuff. What do you do to practice trades? Do you just pick stuff out and 'follow' it?

Well done on finally registering with a GP.

Thanks Gill! I've wasted a lot of time playing spider solitaire and freecell and bubbleshooter too, if I'm honest :(

To practise the trading, I have 3 charts open - the ftse, the £/$ rate, and the E/$ rate - its a question of looking at them EVERY 10-15 minutes, and working out if there's a trade that fits the system I evolved - things like, what's the price doing / opening at, where are the indicators, where's the target, what news is there at this time.

I haven't been fully practising it, I've just been looking *back* at the morning, to see if the system still looks like it works. It does, so from Monday I'll be practising properly, on the live chart, not retrospectively. Although its just sitting at a computer, the brain is working furiously while its actually going on. They call it being a technical trader :o
